How the gods helped this Spanish luxury brand corner 45% of its revenue in India

The 'temple' opens at 11 in the morning. Situated in South Delhi's upscale locality of Saket, the 400 square feet area is centrally air-conditioned, a divine aroma wafts through the air and a small mesmerising porcelain idol of Lord Ganesha is placed at the centre. On the right are other deities adorning the shelf: Ram, Shiva, Hanuman, Lakshmi and Saraswati. On the left, one can spot a white statue of Sai Baba. 
'Head priest' Nikhil Lamba is ready for the daily ritual. Ajay Chopra, a millionaire devotee from Lucknow, is the first one to 'buy' the divine blessings of a 'limited edition' Ganesha, priced at a startling Rs 4.5 lakh. 

"It's (the idol) priceless. One can never get such a beautiful Ganesha idol anywhere in India," claims Chopra, who had his tryst with Lladro when his brother-in-law from America gifted him a Krishna idol last year. The 'temple' in South Delhi happens to be one of ..
