Isis supporters in Australia are waiting for a "clear signal" from terror cells before unleashing attacks, intelligence analysts have warned.

The warning came as police in Sydney raided several properties after four men of Lebanese descent were arrested for plotting to bring down a commercial airline with toxic gas or an explosive device.

Counter-terror units foiled the attack on Saturday (29 July) and extra security measures have been put in place at major Australian airports.

The terror plot was "advanced", Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull told ABC radio. He would not specify any further details. Australia's national threat level remains at "probable."

Australian Federal Police (AFP) commissioner Andrew Colvin told a news conference: "In recent days, law enforcement has become aware of information that suggested some people in Sydney were planning to commit a terrorist act using an improvised device."

Solar Eclipse August 21, 2017: The Sign of Jonah to America

The Sign Of Jonah (Matthew 12:38-45)

39 He answered, “A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a miraculous sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. 40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. 41 The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and now one greater than Jonah is here. 42 The Queen of the South will rise at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for she came from the ends of the earth to listen to Solomon’s wisdom, and now one greater than Solomon is here.

‘Astonishing’ Spike In Demand For Exorcisms

Demand for exorcisms is on the rise in both the U.K. and the U.S. according to data from a new report and warnings from church leaders.

A report on mental health issues facing the church published by Theos, a U.K.-based Christian think tank, revealed that exorcism is now a “booming industry in the U.K.” and warned of the inherent harm in confusing mental health issues with demonic activity.

The rise in demand, according to the report, is directly related to an influx of immigrants with pentecostal and charismatic backgrounds — Christian denominations which deal very openly with exorcism and deliverance. Interviewees in the mental health field said in the report that “the vast majority of cases” of people requesting exorcism were actually suffering from mental health issues that required psychiatric care. Neither the church nor the report, however, denied the reality of demonic possession and the need for exorcism in certain cases.

“Jesus’ command was to heal the sick and to cast out demons,” the report reads. “The two are not synonymous. Just as for physical ailments we recommend seeking medical assistance, so it must be for mental illness. This is not to discount the possibility of demonic attacks, but it is to apply caution, in order to ensure that we are best looking after the needs of sufferers.”

Leaders in the Catholic Church noted that the increased demand for exorcisms was not localized to the U.K. but is also seen in the U.S. Catholic leaders’ assessment of the issue. The cause for the increased demand, however, is not simply an issue of immigrant culture, but was also attributed to an increase in demonic activity, according to Father Vincent Lampert, lead exorcist of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis.

Activist Who Called For 'Jihad' Against Trump Is Using 'Muslim Brotherhood Playbook'

Muslim Author: Activist Who Called For 'Jihad' Against Trump Is Using 'Muslim Brotherhood Playbook'

Dr. Qanta Ahmed said that progressive Muslim activist Linda Sarsour's call for a "jihad" against the Trump administration is a play from the "Muslim Brotherhood playbook."

"This is classic Islamist tactics right out of the Muslim Brotherhood playbook," the author and physician said.

Sarsour, a leader of January's Women’s March in Washington, D.C., was named a “Champion of Change” by the Obama administration in 2012. Known for her strong language against the current White House, she appeared at the Islamic Society of North America's annual convention and appeared to call for a "jihad" against Trump.

“I hope, that when we stand up to those who oppress our communities, that Allah accepts from us that as a form of jihad, that we are struggling against tyrants and rulers not only abroad in the Middle East or the other side of the world, but here in these United States of America, where you have fascists and white supremacists and Islamophobes reining in the White House,” Sarsour told her Muslim-majority audience.

Alt-right who relies on google for translation is trying to instill fear in the hearts of Muslims. We will be unapologetic about who we are.

This is very clear. The alt-right wants to get rid of me by any means necessary. That's their plan.

"In this climate, 'jihad' could be construed by a fanatic as a call to arms to act against our president," Ahmed warned.

Liberals' claim that Sarsour's right to discuss Islam as a religion is being denigrated is false, the Muslim British author said.

"We are called by the Koran to join and unite society, not fragment it," and Sarsour is denying Muslims this duty, she observed.

The Muslim Brotherhood wants Muslims to feel "vicitmized" and "persecuted," and Sarsour, a "political totalitarian ideologue" is promoting just that, the author concluded.

WASHINGTON – Even as President Trump’s administration tries to crack down on Muslim terrorism, public officials from both sides of the aisle remain blind to the threat of Islam, contends the man who infiltrated a top Muslim organization in the U.S.

Carl Gallups, host of the radio show “Freedom Friday,” recently interviewed Chris Gaubatz, vice president of Understanding the Threat, to discuss the Islamization of America by organizations such as the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).

“Yes, the left has failed on this, but the right politically has failed on this as well,” Gaubatz said in reference to identifying the threat of Islam and proposing practical solutions to stop the covert Muslim invasion of the U.S. “When you have Michele Bachmann getting up and speaking truth about this threat, it was her own party that shouted her down, not the Democrats.”
