The real danger to traditional Christianity is not from without, but from within its own ranks. Millions of professing Christians have conformed to the world and have been taken in “through philosophy” and “the tradition of men” and are “not after Christ.” (Col. 2:8) Not that this is anything new. The attempt to blend Christianity with paganism has been going on since the days of the early church. And here we are 2 millennia later, still fighting some of the same battles.
One of the major problems Christendom is combating is pagan spirituality. The pace at which unbiblical pagan beliefs are seeping into evangelical churches is dramatically quickening. Many of the orthodoxy have been sounding the alarm, but few have been listening.
Liberalism, with its false social justice gospel, has also reared its ugly head in the Church of Jesus Christ. The liberal “social justice Christian” sees traditionalists as out of touch with the times. Their clarion call is: The Church must change! The next generation of Purpose Driven pastor’s accuse traditionalists who speak out against change agents of being “haters.” Purpose Driven/charismatic pastor Steven Furtick rapped his disdain for outspoken traditionalists in Hey Haters. “Fall back! It’s a new day!” he rebuked. The orthodoxy’s “day is done.” They are “haters…nit-pickers…black and white…full of opinions, low on the Spirit.” Steven seemed angry, even, well, low on the Spirit. On March 10, 2011 Watcher's Lamp warned of increased severe weather, earthquakes and volcanic activity through March 21 due to the ongoing geomagnetic storm caused by the solar flare assault. On the same day 24 were found dead as quake topples homes in SW China.
On March 11, 2011, Japan was struck with the 9.0 magnitude quake and devastating tsunami. Now, while the earth's magnetic field is still recovering from the solar flare attack from last week, the gravitational forces of the March 19th Supermoon and the the conjunction of the moon and the sun at the spring equinox on March 21st will create additional stress on the already struggling magnetic field.

Red Alert: Radiation Rising and Heading South in Japan
The nuclear reactor situation in Japan has deteriorated significantly. Two more explosions occurred at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant on March 15.
The first occurred at 6:10 a.m. local time at reactor No. 2, which had seen nuclear fuel rods exposed for several hours after dropping water levels due to mishaps in the emergency cooling efforts. Within three hours the amount of radiation at the plant rose to 163 times the previously recorded level, according to Japan’s Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency.

HELL—THE FURNACE OF FIRE

Hell is a place of unrelieved torment for both body and soul. When a nonbeliever dies, his soul leaves the presence of God, and goes into hell. His soul probably doesn’t go into the lake of fire that all unbelievers will be thrown into after the Great White Throne Judgment (because a transcendent body would be required to endure the fire), but it still goes to a place of torment (as was illustrated by the rich man who died and went to hell in Luke 16).
When an unsaved person dies, his soul descends into hell. In the future, there will be a resurrection of the bodies of the damned, and at that time the condemned will be given a transcendent body so they can be thrown into the lake of fire. Christians will also be resurrected at that time, and be given a transcendent, glorified body to enable them to live eternally in heaven. Those who are condemned to hell will be raised and given new bodies for the sole purpose of being punished forever in those bodies (Jn. 5:25-29; Rev. 20:11-15). That’s why Jesus said, “…fear not them who kill the body…but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell” (Mt. 10:28).
Some people think that hell will only be experienced by the inner consciousness. But hell will be experienced by the body, too. Transcendent, eternal bodies are going to be given to the damned; they will suffer in those bodies forever.

A new explosion hit a nuclear plant in Japan as the country races to avert a catastrophic meltdown in the wake of a massive earthquake and tsunami feared to have killed more than 10,000 people.

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — Rain-swollen waterways in northern New Jersey are slowly receding after cresting overnight, but flooding is still a concern. The National Weather Service says the Passaic (puh-SAY'-ihk) River crested at four feet above flood stage in Little Falls and about three feet over flood stage in Pine Brook last night. While flooding wasn't as severe as predicted, it's still considered major.

Chicago-Sun Times TOKYO — A ferocious tsunami spawned by one of the largest earthquakes ever recorded slammed Japan’s eastern coast Friday, killing hundreds of people as it swept away boats, cars and homes while widespread fires burned out of control.
Hours later, the tsunami hit Hawaii and warnings blanketed the Pacific, putting areas on alert as far away as South America, Canada, Alaska and the entire U.S. West Coast. In Japan, the area around a nuclear power plant in the northeast was evacuated after the reactor’s cooling system failed.
Police said 200 to 300 bodies were found in the northeastern coastal city of Sendai, the city in Miyagi prefecture (state) closest to the quake’s epicenter. Another 88 were confirmed killed and at least 349 were missing. The death toll was likely to continue climbing given the scale of the disaster.
The magnitude-8.9 offshore quake unleashed a 23-foot (seven-meter) tsunami and was followed by more than 50 aftershocks for hours, many of them of more than magnitude 6.0.

AOL NEWS: The biggest earthquake to hit Japan since records began almost 150 years ago smashed into the country's northeast coast today, triggering a 32-foot tsunami that washed away everything in its path. Japanese television showed the vast wall of debris-filled water sweeping away cars, ships and even buildings.
The Red Cross in Geneva said the wave was higher than some Pacific islands, and a warning has been issued for the whole of the Pacific Basin, including Hawaii, the Philippines, Indonesia and Taiwan. Authorities in Hawaii have ordered the evacuation of coastal areas.

Local media reported at least 32 deaths, with more casualties feared. And the 8.9-magnitude quake, which struck at 2:46 p.m., prompted the U.S. National Weather Service to issue a tsunami warning for at least 20 countries.
The quake's epicenter was 373 kilometers (231 miles) away from Tokyo, the United States Geological Survey said.
But residents there continued to feel aftershocks hours after the quake. More than 30 aftershocks followed, with the strongest measuring at 7.1.

(AP) BEIJING – An earthquake toppled more than 1,000 houses and apartment buildings in China's southwest near the border with Myanmar on Thursday, killing at least 24 people and injuring more than 200, officials and state media said.
Photos from the scene showed buildings that buckled, crushing their lower floors. Police, firefighters and soldiers rushed to the area to pull out people trapped in the rubble, including a man and girl stuck in the stairwell of a four-story building, according to state broadcaster China Central Television.

Many Christians are unaware of the warning written in a letter by Corrie ten Boom where Miss ten Boom warns against a pre-tribulation rapture false doctrine.
...In her worldwide travels Miss ten Boom met with many Christians abroad. Many in the Suffering Church were enduring persecution just as she had. She met with Church leaders of the underground church in China. There she became aware of what had happened to the Chinese church in 1949. At that time Mao Tse Tung was bringing China into communism. The American missionaries had left the country. Chinese Christians entered into a time of intense persecution.
During that period the Pre-Tribulation Rapture doctrine had been the accepted teaching. But there was a problem. And it turned out to be a serious one. This Biblically unfounded doctrine had not prepared the Chinese Church for witness under trial. Christian believers were interrogated and brutalized under the Red Guard. Many fell away from the faith in those times.
There are some among us teaching there will be no tribulation that the Christians will be able to escape all this. These are the false teachers that Jesus was warning us to expect in the latter days. Mos of them have little knowledge of what is already going on across the world. I have been in countries where the saints are already suffering terrible persecution.

Many Christians are unaware of the warning written in a letter by Corrie ten Boom where Miss ten Boom warns against a pre-tribulation rapture false doctrine.
...In her worldwide travels Miss ten Boom met with many Christians abroad. Many in the Suffering Church were enduring persecution just as she had. She met with Church leaders of the underground church in China. There she became aware of what had happened to the Chinese church in 1949. At that time Mao Tse Tung was bringing China into communism. The American missionaries had left the country. Chinese Christians entered into a time of intense persecution.
During that period the Pre-Tribulation Rapture doctrine had been the accepted teaching. But there was a problem. And it turned out to be a serious one. This Biblically unfounded doctrine had not prepared the Chinese Church for witness under trial. Christian believers were interrogated and brutalized under the Red Guard. Many fell away from the faith in those times.
There are some among us teaching there will be no tribulation that the Christians will be able to escape all this. These are the false teachers that Jesus was warning us to expect in the latter days. Mos of them have little knowledge of what is already going on across the world. I have been in countries where the saints are already suffering terrible persecution.

Islamists Dominate DOJ's List of Terror Prosecutions

More than 80 percent of all convictions tied to international terrorist groups and homegrown terrorism since 9/11 involve defendants driven by a radical Islamist agenda, a review of Department of Justice statistics shows.
Though Muslims represent about 1 percent of the American population, they constitute defendants in 186 of the 228 cases DOJ lists.
On Thursday, the House Homeland Security Committee holds its first hearing into radicalization among Muslim Americans. Critics have taken issue with the focus on one religious minority, but the DOJ list shows that radical Islamists are disproportionately involved in terror-related crimes.
Al-Qaida is involved in the largest number of prosecutions, representing 30 percent of the 228 terror cases involving an identified group. Hizballah-affiliated defendants are involved in 10.5 percent of the cases and Hamas is part of 9 percent. Pakistani-based Lashkar-e-Tayyiba was involved in 6.5 percent of the cases.

Chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, Republican Rep. Peter King will hold a hearing Thursday that will examine the threat of radical Islam in the United States:
But King said Wednesday he's moving ahead with the hearing on the basis of "where the evidence is."
"That's where the danger is coming from," he told Fox News. "It's a small percentage. The overwhelming majority of Muslims are outstanding Americans. But the reality is that the threat is coming from within that community."

There have been 43 homegrown violent jihadist plots or attacks in the United States since September 11, 2001 (9/11).
As part of a much-discussed apparent expansion of terrorist activity in the United States, between May 2009 and November 2010, arrests were made for 22 “homegrown,” jihadist-inspired terrorist plots by American citizens or legal permanent residents of the United States.
Two of these resulted in attacks. Most of the 2009-2010 homegrown plots likely reflect a trend in jihadist terrorist activity away from schemes directed by core members of significant terrorist groups such as Al Qaeda.

As she does so often, Asra Nomani swims against the tide in columns published by the Daily Beast and the Washington Post. Nomani, a former Wall Street Journal reporter who just completed a compelling investigation into all the players behind the murder of her former colleague Daniel Pearl, has been pushing for Muslim Americans to do a better job policing their own communities.
It's difficult, she writes, for "shame-based societies" to break through a reflexive denial that any problem exists. Instead, they deliver "obtuse PR campaigns that don't address issues of radicalism head-on."
That's what national Islamist groups are doing this week, drumming up protests and condemnation of King and of the hearing's focus on radicalization among Muslims, as opposed to political violence in general.

The annual Southern Baptist pastors conference takes place June 12 and 13, 2011 in Phoenix. Sharing the stage with Rick Warren, will be Desiring God’s John Piper. Apparently Piper’s holding his West Coast DG conference at Saddleback in April was just a warm-up for greater cooperation. The Purpose-Driven train rolls on.

Ten killed in Egypt Christian-Muslim violence
(Reuters) - Ten people were killed in violence between Christians and Muslims in Cairo on Tuesday night, the state news agency reported on Wednesday.
The agency quoted a senior health ministry official as saying 110 people were wounded in the violence.
The ministry had earlier put the death toll at four.

This film deals with the militant madrassas in Sudan often inhabited by the orphans of the jihad in southern Sudan, Darfur, Nigeria and Chad. Here, the men are usually enslaved or killed; the women, if not killed, are taken north and sold after enduring sadistic rapes. But the children are often kidnapped and deported to terrorist training camps, where they are brainwashed into adherence to the Islamic ideology and trained for military warfare against non-Muslims. When they finish their schooling they are sent back home or abroad to establish sleeper cells and spread the ideology of hate.
This strategy of child deportation and indoctrination has been documented in other wars on innocent non-Muslims and seems to be a jihadi tradition. At least, it carries the distinctive mark of the Islamic strategy: feed off the enemy while you fight him. Within this field Islamic teachings really are highly developed and innovative, applying hundreds and hundreds of often complicated schemes and rackets to bleed the dragon. In fact, "terror" seems to be one such scheme. The creativity behind these traditions of jihad, is so downright evil it boggles the mind, but when one understands the true implications of a doctrine of permanent war one realises a neccessity at work and begin to find these vicious systems of exploitation feeding off non-muslim societies time and time again. A kind of ancient jihad economics is in play, in which the kafirs figure as nothing but a natural resource.
