Ireland overturns abortion ban

Irish abortion referendum: Ireland overturns abortion ban

  • 26 May 2018
The Republic of Ireland has voted overwhelmingly to overturn the abortion ban by 66.4% to 33.6%.
A referendum held on Friday resulted in a landslide win for the repeal side.

Currently, abortion is only allowed when a woman's life is at risk, but not in cases of rape, incest or fatal foetal abnormality.

The Eighth Amendment, which grants an equal right to life to the mother and unborn, will be replaced.

The declaration was made at Dublin Castle at 18:13 local time.

My refuge in the day of disaster.

Jeremiah Prays for Deliverance

14 Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
    save me, and I shall be saved,
    for you are my praise.
15 Behold, they say to me,
    “Where is the word of the Lord?
    Let it come!”
16 I have not run away from being your shepherd,
    nor have I desired the day of sickness.
You know what came out of my lips;
    it was before your face.
17 Be not a terror to me;
    you are my refuge in the day of disaster.
18 Let those be put to shame who persecute me,
    but let me not be put to shame;
let them be dismayed,
    but let me not be dismayed;
bring upon them the day of disaster;
    destroy them with double destruction!

Mass Shootings Caused by Drugs!

Pharmaceutical Murder – Mass Shootings Caused by Drugs!

Published on May 21, 2018
What is it we never see in the press about the tragic mass shootings that are happening now on a routine basis? What pharmaceutical drugs these shooters are on, their health history and who the doctors are who are responsible for the physical and mental health of of these mass murders, that’s what!

Twenty-seven drug regulatory agency warnings cite psychiatric drug side effects of mania, psychosis, violence and homicidal ideation; 1,531 cases of psychiatric drug induced homicide/homicidal ideation have been reported to the US FDA; 65 high profile cases of mass shootings/murder have been committed by individuals under the influence of these drugs, yet there has never been a federal investigation into the link between seemingly senseless acts of violence and the use of mind-altering psychotropic drugs.

Yet yesterday in the Associated Press and several Washington newspapers we read a hysterical wave of protest after the National Rifle Association’s incoming president linked school shootings and other violence to using medications such as Ritalin:

George DuPaul, a psychologist at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania said, "There’s really no evidence whatsoever that links treatment for ADHD with Ritalin and drugs like that with violence, let alone gun violence." If anything, DuPaul said, children tend to be less aggressive. Right here in this statement we see how mass killings have become sanctioned by the press and mainstream institutions.

Pope Francis tells gay man: 'God made you like this'

Pope Francis tells gay man: 'God made you like this and loves you like this'

Remarks during conversation with sex abuse victim are pontiff’s clearest acceptance of homosexuality to date.

A victim of clerical sex abuse has said Pope Francis told him God made him gay and his sexuality “does not matter”.

Juan Carlos Cruz spoke privately with the pontiff last week about the abuse he suffered at the hands of a prominent Chilean priest.

After his sexuality came up in conversation, Francis reportedly told him: “Juan Carlos, that you are gay does not matter.
God made you like that and loves you like this and I don’t care. The Pope loves you like this. You have to be happy with who you are.”

Pope Francis hints at likely retirement.
Pope Francis spoke about when it will be time for him to retire during his homily on Tuesday. The statement may be the most direct announcement yet that he will someday retire. Pope Francis has previously hinted at his retirement.

LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) - Pope Francis made a surprising statement during a homily on St. Paul on Tuesday. The Pope mentioned that St. Paul had to decide when to leave his flock of Christians to the care of others. Pope Francis then talked about the right time to "take leave" of his flock, alluding to his possible retirement.

Sex abuse and cover-ups in Chilean church leads to mass resignation of 34 bishops

Mass resignation of 34 bishops exposes crisis in Chilean church

The Catholic Church is facing a widening crisis over claims of child sex abuse and cover-ups that triggered the unprecedented resignation of all 34 of Chile’s bishops on Friday after the pope accused them of “grave negligence”.
The decision to resign followed four days of emergency talks with Pope Francis in which the pontiff accused bishops of failing to investigate abuse allegations amid claims that evidence of sex crimes had been destroyed. It is the first time all of the most senior clerics of a country have volunteered to stand down over sex abuse claims. They asked forgiveness from the victims, the pope and all Catholics for their "grave errors and omissions" while vowing to repair the damage.

One of the resigning bishops, Alejandro Goic, apologised again Saturday for failing to respond to reports of cases of sexual abuse in his diocese, including one involving a priest who sent naked pictures of himself to a false Facebook profile in a sting operation.

While many of the Chilean victims of abuse welcomed the news, they have called for the Vatican to pursue further action.

Al-Qaeda calls for jihad against U.S. as embassy opens in Jerusalem

Al-Qaeda top dog calls for jihad against U.S. as embassy opens in Jerusalem

American officials have always counseled appeasement in the face of this intimidation: give the jihadis what they want, and maybe they won’t hurt us. That course of action, however, only encourages more intimidation. President Trump is right to call a halt to such appeasement, and to stand strong.
“Al-Qaeda Terrorist Leader Calls for Jihad Against U.S. as Embassy Opens in Jerusalem,” by Simon Kent, Breitbart, May 14, 2018 (thanks to Ken):
Muslims should wage jihad against the U.S. as a response to America’s decision to move its Israel embassy from Tel Aviv to the capital Jerusalem, Al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri said on Sunday.
The Egyptian doctor who assumed leadership of the global terror group after its founder Osama bin Laden was killed in 2011 made his call in a video titled “Tel Aviv is Also a Land of Muslims.”
U.S. President Donald Trump “was clear and explicit, and he revealed the true face of the modern Crusade, where standing down and appeasement does not work with them, but only resistance through the call and jihad,” al-Zawahiri said, according to a transcript provided to AFP by the SITE monitoring agency.
He added that Bin Laden had declared the U.S. “the first enemy of the Muslims, and swore that it will not dream of security until it is lived in reality in Palestine, and until all the armies of disbelief leave the land of Muhammad.”
Al-Zawahiri argued that Islamic countries had failed to act in Muslims’ interests by entering into the United Nations, which recognizes Israel, and following Security Council and General Assembly resolutions rather than bending to the will of sharia (Islamic law)….

Jerusalem Embassy and Gaza Protests

Two Dead, 22 Palestinians Reported Wounded by Israeli Gunfire at Border Fence

Thousands march toward Gaza border ■ U.S. embassy opening ceremony at 4 P.M. ■ Hezbollah: Jerusalem embassy move 'worthless' ■ Palestinians in West Bank, Jerusalem urged to 'clash with the occupation'

Jack Khoury, Noa Landau and Haaretz May 14, 2018 12:51 PM

The Israel Police is preparing for the U.S. embassy move from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem with thousands of policemen deployed through the city. At 4:00 P.M. (Israel Time), the official ceremony will take place at the U.S. Consulate in the Arnona neighborhood of Jerusalem, which will officially become the U.S. embassy this week

Palestinians throughout the West Bank and Jerusalem were urged to turn out en masse to protest the embassy move and take part in Tuesday's 70th anniversary of the Nakba, or “catastrophe,” as Palestinians term Israel’s creation.

In Ramallah and El Bireh, the marches are expected to start at 11 A.M. and proceed to the Qalandiyah Checkpoint near Jerusalem. Marches will also leave from other cities, including Bethlehem, Hebron, Nablus and Jericho

Fatima: Harbinger of Deception?

Fatima 2 – We have what may be the Smoking Gun…

Most people are aware that something happened over 100 years ago on the moors of Fatima, Portugal. However, in my opinion, the story has been obfuscated and “managed” by the authorities and the church.

Remember this, Communism was threatening all of Europe, World War I was raging, and in the halls Parliament in Great Britain the Balfour declaration—which would lead to the creation of the state of Israel— was being discussed.

Enter three illiterate children who have an encounter with a being. The entity communicated with them telepathically. The entity never said it was Mary, only that it came from the sky.
Some of you who are reading this may take offense at this. Let me make it clear that I’m not disparaging what people want to believe. However, if we go to the original hand-written documents from 1917, and comb through them in my opinion, a completely different set of facts emerge.
Here’s what we discovered and reveal in the soon-to-be-released film Fatima 2 – Strange Phenomenon.

Cardinal fighst against Vatican deal with Beijing

Cardinal Zen sticks to his guns in fight against Vatican deal with Beijing

13 May 2018 15:51 Kris Cheng

Hong Kong’s Cardinal Joseph Zen, 86, is continuing a one-man fight inside the Catholic establishment to oppose a deal between the Vatican and China over who can appoint bishops in the officially atheist country.

A potential agreement between the Vatican and Beijing was reportedly in its final stages in March – though Zen often called it a “deal with the devil” and a “complete sellout.” Perhaps – in part – because of his efforts, the critical voices he inspired, and the ever-harsher suppression of religion in China, the Vatican now says the deal is not going anywhere soon.

“I had a very special experience. I know China. I know the church in China. I have worked seven years, spending six months a year from 1989 to 1996 in [government-recognised churches] teaching the seminaries,” Zen, born in Shanghai to Catholic parents, said in an interview with HKFP.

Suicide Bombers in Deadly Attacks on 3 Churches in Indonesia

Suicide Bombers in Deadly Attacks on 3 Churches in Indonesia

By Muktita Suhartono

May 13, 2018
BANDUNG, Indonesia — At least 11 people were killed on Sunday morning after suicide bombers detonated explosions at three churches in Surabaya, Indonesia’s second-largest city, as worshipers gathered between services, the police said.

More than 41 other people were injured by the attackers, at least one of whom was disguised as a churchgoer, said Frans Barung Mangera, a police spokesman. He said the number of casualties could increase as the police were still investigating the blasts.

Mr. Mangera said the bombs had been detonated in different parts of the city within minutes of one another, suggesting the attacks had been coordinated. He said the victims included many worshipers who were entering and leaving the churches between services. Two police officers were among the victims, he said.

Rick Warren Continues on the Road To Rome

NEW YORK - One of America’s leading evangelicals believes a new pastoral letter on mental health by California’s Catholic bishops serves as a “watershed moment, and a new standard for mental health ministries around the world.”
On Wednesday, the California Catholic Conference released “Hope and Healing,” a pastoral letter calling for an end to the stigma around mental illness and greater collaboration between science and medical professionals and people of faith.
According to Pastor Rick Warren, founder and pastor of Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California, the document will be used “not simply by Catholics and Christians in California, but also by non-believers.”
In an interview with Crux, Warren praised the document as being “very well-written,” noting that it’s “both pastoral and scientific.”
Warren is quoted in the letter calling for greater recognition that mental illness is not the result of a lack of faith in God.

Israel and Iran on brink of full-scale war

Iranian forces have hit Israel from Syria

Israel has launched one of the heaviest barrages against Iranian targets in neighbouring Syria since the civil war there began in 2011, after Iranian forces in the country bombarded Israeli army bases with rockets.
The attack on the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights marks the first time Iranian forces have hit Israel from Syria, where they are supporting the country’s president, Bashar al-Assad.
Israel said its targets included weapons storage, logistics sites and intelligence centres used by elite Iranian forces in Syria. It also said it destroyed several Syrian air-defence systems after coming under heavy fire and that none of its warplanes were hit.
It was the most intensive Israeli action in Syria since civil war broke out there in 2011.
