Muslim World League, Vatican boost religious ties

Muslim World League, Vatican boost religious ties
  • Accord emphasizes the need for promoting dialogue in a world that has become more versatile in terms of race, religions and cultures.
  • Two parties obliged to work toward strengthening religious and spiritual ties between Christians and Muslims.
JEDDAH: Mohammed bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, secretary-general of the Muslim World League (MWL), and Cardinal Jean-Louis Tauran, president of the Pontifical Council for Interfaith Dialogue at the Vatican, have signed a cooperation agreement on achieving common objectives.

Tauran praised the efforts of the MWL in leading initiatives to strengthen relationships and build bridges between religions.

“It is not my intention to present a list of the many initiatives implemented by this organization, but I am fully aware of the relentless efforts exerted to make it through its various programs, really reflect the true meaning of its name, a link, not only among Muslims but also with believers of other religions, especially Christians, to achieve common goals,” he said.

Iran: Israel Will Pay for Strike

Iran: Israel Will Pay for Strike on Drone Base in Syria

Tehran's Foreign Ministry warns 'Zionist regime' will receive 'an appropriate response' to attack

Jack Khoury Apr 16, 2018 10:25 PM

Iran will punish Israel for a strike on a drone base in Syria, Tehran's Foreign Ministry said Monday, following a report quoting an Israeli senior military official as admitting that the country was behind the attack.
“Tel Aviv will be punished for its aggressive action,” Bahram Ghassemi, the spokesman for Iran's Foreign Ministry, told reporters. "The occupying Zionist regime will, sooner or later, receive an appropriate response to its actions."
Ghassemi called the airstrike “unacceptable” and said “the Syrian military can defend its territory and will do so."

ISRAEL AT THE 70TH ANNIVERSARY

The prophet Jeremiah in chapter 30 and verse 7 makes a reference to something he calls the “time of Jacob’s trouble”, which is the same thing Jesus mentions in Matthew 24 when He talks about the coming time of “great tribulation”. When the Jews were in Babylon, Daniel read the book of Jeremiah and understood that God would revisit His people after 70 years. Is it possible that God will once again visit as Israel celebrates their 70th anniversary?
IS THE LORD PREPARING TO ONCE AGAIN BEGIN DEALING
WITH HIS CHOSEN PEOPLE AS ISRAEL APPROACHES THE 70TH
ANNIVERSARY OF BEING BACK IN THE LAND?
“For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed. For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, saith the LORD. For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.” Jeremiah 29:8-10 (KJV)
In this article, I want to talk about what I see as the amazing potential in 2018 for the fulfillment of Bible prophecy. There will be no date setting, fear mongering or end times scare tactics of any kind. There will be no “4 Blood Moons” hype for book sales nonsense happening here. The Bible says the moon will become blood, not simply turn red. So with that, let’s take a look at some areas where we just might see Bible prophecy fulfilled in 2018.
ISRAEL AT THE 70TH ANNIVERSARY OF THEIR REGATHERING
IS A HOTBED OF  POTENTIAL PROPHETIC FULFILLMENT
The prophet Jeremiah in chapter 30 and verse 7 makes a reference to something he calls the “time of Jacob’s trouble”, which is the same thing Jesus mentions in Matthew 24 when He talks about the coming time of “great tribulation”. When the Jews were in Babylon, Daniel read the book of Jeremiah and understood that God would revisit His people after 70 years. Is it possible that God will once again visit as Israel celebrates their 70th anniversary?
“Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.” Jeremiah 30:7 (KJV)
But just one chapter before that, Jeremiah mentions something that immediately preceded that, a visitation from the Lord after 70 years. Historically this is talking about the Jews in Babylonian captivity, but is also a prophecy of the Jews in the time of Jacob’s trouble in the end times.
“For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.” Jeremiah 29:10 (KJV)

THIRD Temple Coin Minted For Israel’s 70th Anniversary

New Special Edition Temple Coin Minted For Israel’s 70th Anniversary Is Fundraiser For THIRD TEMPLE, WHICH ANTICHRIST WILL DEFILE

The organizations that created the original Trump-Cyrus Coin are now minting a special edition “70 Year Redemption Coin” focused on generating an international effort to build the Third Temple. The timing, coming just before Israel’s 70th birthday, is essential, and the organizers see the Temple as the only hope in averting the developing multinational conflict looming on Israel’s northern border. “The Temple, as a house of prayer for all nations, is the source of true peace,” Rabbi Hillel Weiss, spokesman for the nascent Sanhedrin, a biblically mandated court of 71 elders, told Breaking Israel News. “It has been presented in the media as a ‘flashpoint’, the focus of conflict. That is the opposite of the truth and has actually made this lie into a reality.” (READ MORE)

A Prophetic Perspective on the Syrian Conflict

PSALM 83 NOW! EZEKIEL 38 NEXT?

Prophecy Watchers

Bill Salus burst on the prophetic scene a few years ago with a focus on a handful of the Bible's ancient, Old Testament prophecies. From his interpretation of the upcoming Psalm 83 War, to the Iranian, "Nuclear Boomerang" prophecies of Jeremiah 49, and then the "Doom of Damascus" prophecies in Isaiah 17 . . . Bill has developed quite a faithful following. And for good reason. He has a heart for the Gospel and the lost. Now, we may be standing on the verge of another area of Bill's intense focus, the coming Russian/Iranian attack on Israel . . . the Battle of Gog and Magog. Only time will tell if we are there, but you will definitely want to hear what Gary and Bill have to say about the future! Inquiring minds want to know ... where does America fit in all of this turmoil and sabre rattling?

Assad Pushes Into Border Area With Israel,

With His Survival Guaranteed, Assad Pushes Into Border Area With Israel, Violating Accords

As the U.S. prepares to pull its troops out of Syria, Israel ought to brace for an ever-confident Syrian army whose actions close to the border are becoming a true cause for concern

Amos Harel Apr 08, 2018 1:44 PM

amatic things went down in Syria this week, while the people of Israel were distracted by the storm over the prime minister and his U-turn on asylum seekers. The survival of the Assad regime, with close Russian and Iranian backing, is looking like a done deal.

The week began with U.S. President Donald Trump uttering a remark that made his generals’ jaws drop: that he would remove all American troops from Syria.

The Pentagon is kicking and Trump has changed his mind before, but the likely upshot is that Moscow will remain the only power in Syria. Even the Saudi heir apparent Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman admitted this week for the first time, speaking with the Atlantic, that Syrian President Bashar Assad is there to stay — something the Saudis had invested billions (contributing to the bloodshed) in trying to prevent.

On Wednesday the leaders of Turkey, Russia and Iran met for a three-way summit. Israeli circles can hardly ignore the possible correlation of these things. It felt like a committee to draw up areas of influence in Syria, with the tacit acceptance of the Trump regime.

Russia, Iran and Turkey forming an alliance to take control of Syria

END TIMES AXIS OF EVIL: PUTIN CREATES POWERFUL ALLIANCE BETWEEN RUSSIA, IRAN AND TURKEY FOR CONTROL OF DAMASCUS AND SYRIA

Russia, Iran and Turkey have been drawn together in their support of Syria. Putin and Rouhani provide Assad with military support and Turkey has now joined their efforts because it wants to crush US-backed Kurdish forces massing on its border. And Russia helps both countries on energy. It is also building Turkey a $20 billion nuclear power station, which began construction yesterday, and last year Putin signed a $30 billion energy co-operation deal with Iran.

HE LEADERS OF RUSSIA, TURKEY AND IRAN MET IN ANKARA FOR TALKS YESTERDAY AS THEY CEMENTED THEIR UNLIKELY ALLIANCE OVER SYRIA IN A CHALLENGE TO US AND WESTERN INFLUENCE IN THE REGION.
“Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: “ Ezekiel 39:1 (KJV)

EDITOR’S NOTE: For those of you who think we might be putting a little too much emphasis and importance on the upcoming 70th anniversary of regathered Israel, today’s article should clear that up for you. Russia, Iran and Turkey forming an alliance just this week to take control of Syria absolutely leaps off the pages of the Bible. Putin supplies both Iran and Turkey with nuclear and military technology, as well as oil and gas. All three countries are mentioned in the Bible as Gog-Russia, Persia-Iran and Turkey/Meshech and Tubal . And obviously, so is Syria which figures quite heavily in Bible prophecy. We now have a little more than 5 weeks to go until May 14, and it’s anyone’s guess what will happen next. But buckle up because it’s gonna be something big.

Middle East Christians Suffer Genocide

From 2017...

Middle East Christians suffer genocide, the world just finger-wags

BY C?CILIA ATTIAS, OPINION CONTRIBUTOR

Where will the systematic and unchallenged persecution of Christian communities in the Middle East by the Islamic State stop? Will it be at the dismantlement of every church, and the slaughter of every churchgoer? Or will it be at the exodus of all members of those communities, forced to flee certain death and torment?
Unfortunately, these are two very probable scenarios given the complete inactiveness of world leaders - from the Kremlin, White House, Downing Street, and the Elysee to the United Nations and Pope Francis, who will make a historic and timely visit to Egypt next week on April 28.
Last Sunday, Islamic State suicide bombers turned two Coptic Christian churches in Egypt into scenes of unimaginable horror. Forty-four worshipers celebrating Palm Sunday were brutally ripped apart by bombs and left burning to death, leaving behind church walls and pews stained with innocent blood and torn bodies left lying lifeless. It was the single deadliest day in decades for Egypt's Christians, and the worst since an ISIS bombing attack at a Cairo church killed 30 people last December. Their only crime? Wishing to practice their faith peacefully, in their own place of worship.

The Messiah of The Feasts of Israel

The Feasts of Israel

Do they have prophetic significance?
“Let no one act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ.” Colossians 2:16-17 (NASB)
This statement by the Apostle Paul refers to the Jewish Feasts as a “mere shadow” of things to come, the substance of them being found in Yeshua, the Messiah. What Paul is saying here is that the feasts were prophetic types, or symbols, that pointed to the Messiah and which would be fulfilled in Him.
Before we pursue that point to see how the feasts were fulfilled in Jesus, let’s first of all familiarize ourselves with the feasts.

Origin and Timing of the Feasts

The feasts were a part of the Mosaic Law that was given to the Children of Israel by God through Moses (Exodus 12; 23:14-17; Leviticus 23; Numbers 28 & 29; and Deuteronomy 16). The Jewish nation was commanded by God to celebrate seven feasts over a seven month period of time, beginning in the spring of the year and continuing through the fall. You will find the timing and sequence of these feasts illustrated on the chart below.
