HE WILL COME AND SAVE YOU

3 Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees.
4 Say to those who have an anxious heart,
"Be strong; fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance,
with the recompense of God.
He will come and save you."

There are 300 hundred prophecies about the First Coming of Jesus in the Old Testament, but there are 500 — five hundred! — in the Old Testament about His Second Coming! And in the New Testament, one out of every 25 verses has to do with the Second Coming of Jesus.

  1. You can't use one verse of scripture to apply to 2 billion souls. it doesn't work that way. He will be coming AFTER the tribulation period in which satan will be giving us a full dose of his fury. Don't be fooled by the pre-trib fantasy. get your heart and house in order, in that order. try looking at this from a pre-wrath view. its easy if you ask the Holy Spirit and IF you open your mind. I used to believe i'd fly away too until i honestly starting studying the scriptures. it shouldn't matter anyway. what is most important is the Millenium kingdom on earth and whether you'll partake or not.

  2. Sorry Linda, I disagree with you on the post-trib. I am a trumpet rapture person, Rev. 14:14-16. I pray that the pre-trib happens, but Christ is suppose to return before the earth is completely destroyed which I believe he raptures first, and then brings God's wrath, Rev. 17-20 I believe the scriptures are. However, the Bible doesn't make it clear when it is, but I think that the pre-tribbers better be prepared for the "what if they are wrong" because I believe if it doesn't turn out to be pre-trib, there will be a lot of Christians that fall away.

  3. Linda,

Thank you for your comment. I do agree with the pre-wrath view.

We will escape God's wrath as we are His through His First Coming. The Anti-Christ's wrath is directed upon the believer.

I posted these verses as encouragement to believers given the signs of the times.

I will add additional links to other posts regarding the coming persecution.

May we keep our lamps lit.

  4. I believe in the prophetic 70 weeks of Daniel and the rapture...but when does it take place?

In Revelation three types of end of age believers.

Rev 6: 5th seal believers ( souls under the heavenly altar of incense ) crying out to God to avenge their deaths ( martyred ). Their receive their white robes ( glorified bodies ) and told to rest a little while more. IMO, the church age believers.

At the end of the Rev 6, catyclismic earth upheaval points to the Day of the Lord. Even the wicked understand the sign of His coming.

Rev 7: "After this" John sees the sealing of 144,000 of the tribes of Israel. 144,000 who also recognize the sign of His coming at the end of Chap 6, who repent and confess that Jesus truly is their Messiah. These are the 6th seal believers.

It seems that the rest of the believers that the 5th seal believers cried out for previously, were collectively caught up into the throne room of God, join with the other 5th seal believers who were resting under the heavenly throne in their white robes. Not by rapture, But by mass murder.

    God said:

"Then they were each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brothers should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been."

A mass holocaust of 5th seal believers on earth completes the number of believers to receive white robes in the heavenly throne room of God.

Rev 12:17 Then the dragon became furious with the woman and went off to make war on the rest of her offspring,on those who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus. And he stood on the sand of the sea.

Rev 13:7 Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them

Chap 7 describes the reunited group of "killed" believers as the new priests of the Temple of God:

"Therefore they are before the throne of God,
and serve him day and night in his temple"

This occurs after the sealing of the 144,000 of the tribes of Israel.

Angels withheld the destruction of the earth until all were sealed:

"Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads."

It seems that 144,000 Jews come to Christ after witnessing the great sign of His coming in Chapter 6. The time of Jacob's trouble begins. This group I call the 6th seal believers.

Revelation 8 - The seventh seal.
Includes the 7 trumpets, the 7 thunders, the 7 plagues.

During the 7th seal, still more sinners repent and believe, no doubt because of the witness of the 144,000 6th seal believers. I call this growing group the 7th seal believers.

  5. PART II

"They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any green plant or any tree, but only those people who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.

Revelation 11: (the 2nd woe) Still within the 7th seal, we have the 2 witnesses and the beast that rises out of the abyss in chapter 9.

The 7th trumpet of the 7th seal sounds, and the heavenly temple is opened and the ark of the covenant revealed.

""The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever."

Revelation 14: Rapture? After the 7th trumpet
    (Yom Terauh?)

1Then I looked, and behold, on Mount Zion stood the Lamb, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads.
No mention of killing, or death. Just appearance as the heavenly temple is opened.

Three angels delivery 3 messages to those still on the earth...worship or take the mark of the beast and you will suffer God's wrath.

Yet another harvest of believers occurs at the 7th trumpet...3rd message

"12 Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.

13And I heard a voice from heaven saying "Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on." "Blessed indeed," says the Spirit,"that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!"

Blessed are the dead, those who die...no rapture for this group.

I called this group of believers the 7th trumpet believers.

Rev 15- the 7 plagues of the 7th seal
The wrath of God is finished.

The 7th trumpet believers are found as the Temple Choir:

2And I saw what appeared to be a sea of glass mingled with fire—and also those who had conquered the beast and its image and the number of its name, standing beside the sea of glass with harps of God in their hands. 3And they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb

Rev 19: The King Returns with His Army

14And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses. 15 From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. 16 On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords.

    Rev 20 The First Resurrection

There are some 7th seal believers who are raised from the dead (as a sign to those who survived Armegeddon?)as judges for the Millenium reign of Christ:

4Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years

    Summary

5th sealed believers ( church age ): Martyred til "number complete", including a possible holocaust.

6th seal believers ( 144K, Tribes of Israel ) raptured, no death terms associated here

7th seal believers experience bodily death, but protected from the torturious acts of Satan's minions.
