The Pope's Ecumenical PEACE Plan

A variety of news sources highlight the Pope's ecumenical agenda for his U.S. visit...

From Spero News: A whole array of Christian faiths will be represented at an ecumenical service to be held with Pope Benedict at St. Joseph's parish in New York City.

...The United States Conference of Catholic Bishop has been in ecumenical dialogue with Christian churches and communities for decades and has embarked with them on many ventures. One of the most recent is establishment of the Christian Churches Together in the USA. Members include Catholics, Orthodox, mainline Protestants, Evangelicals and Pentecostals. For the first time in U.S. history there is a structure to enable the great majority of Christians in the United States to speak together with a common voice on the issues that face both church and society.
