Rick Warren and Oprah's Critical Mass Theology

May 18th - "World Shift Day" - A Critical Mass and Contemplative Prayer - from Lighthouse Trails Research

On May 18th, the World Peace Prayer Society will host the "World Shift Day" where organizations, groups, and people around the world will synchronize their watches and meditate together for the purpose of bringing peace to the earth and helping to create a "critical mass.

"This year's event carries a theme of "The 3rd Timely Transformation Event of The Global Peace Meditation and Prayer Day Leading up to 2012." Many believe that the year 2012 will mark a significance shift in world consciousness. The objective is to "Collectively generate a worldwide energy field of Pure Conscious Thought To Urge the World to Shift." Participants are encouraged to "to amplify the energies and visualize reaching Critical Mass!"

This Rick Warren reminds me of Obadiah ,the high priest in the time of Ahab, who instead of doing his priestly duties ,had gone out looking for grass to feed a wicked king's horses and mules.Rightly Elijah told him "go and tell your master.......".Obadiah means God's servant ,so Elijah was telling him that on the contrary to your name and position you are serving another master.
Before Rick there have been many many hopefulls that have imagined they can fix problems of this world .But out of all of them Rick looks very much like his ancesstor Obadiah .Like him , he has thrown away the gospel(his duty as a pastor),he travels a lot like Obadiah and like him he gives the list of all the good things he has done.
In that time there were lots of gods of fertility, gods of harvest ,prosperity, gods of rain etc and yet there was famine .Nowadays there are lots of organizations , institutions ,scientific advances etc that supposedly have to create a better world but all that have failed (and is failing more ).yet Mr Rick and Co. think if they try hard they can fix this for the first time in the history of human being .As Obadiah so his son Rick are ignorant of the fact that the problem of famine lay in the wickedness of the people not in lack of human efforts
