Jordan Tells Israel to Accept Two-State Solution

New York Times

JERUSALEM — The prime minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, met on Thursday with King Abdullah II of Jordan, who urged the Israeli leader to commit to a two-state solution with the Palestinians, according to news reports.

Mr. Netanyahu made the unannounced trip to Jordan hours before he was to meet in Nazareth with Pope Benedict XVI, and days ahead of a pivotal meeting with President Obama, scheduled to take place in Washington on Monday. It will be the first meeting between the Israeli and American leaders since the conservative-leaning Mr. Netanyahu took office six weeks ago.

The Obama administration has pronounced the two-state solution — the establishment of an independent Palestinian state alongside Israel — to be the only solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Mr. Netanyahu has so far refused to publicly endorse the notion of a sovereign Palestinian state, a point of possible friction with Washington.

You know what...2 state solution or no 2 state solution, something is definatly about to go down. If the 2 state solution does come to pass, God is not going to be happy with it and he will make sure that his promise lives up to it's name one way or another. God means what he says. Now if Israel says no to this 2 state thing, there is certainly going to be conflict not too far. They would have turned down an opportunity for peace and the people who they are currently in dispute with arnt going to like that one bit. Israel will never see permanent peace. There may be temporary peace...As God said all these things are going to happen and there is really nothing we can do to stop it.
