ISRAELI Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will walk into his White House summit prepared to commit to a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, says his Defence Minister and confidant.
Speaking as Mr Netanyahu flew from Jerusalem to Washington yesterday, Ehud Barak said: "I believe Netanyahu is ready for a process whose end is two states for two peoples."
He said in an interview on Israel's Channel 2 that he believed a regional peace deal was achievable within three years.
