Interfaith Service & Unity Centered on Prayer

At Contemplative Outreach LTD, Father Thomas Keating, et.al., promote silence, solitude and service through interfaith contemplative spirituality. From the website:

"The intent of Contemplative Outreach is to foster the process of transformation in Christ in one another through the practice of Centering Prayer.
...The source of Centering Prayer is the Indwelling Trinity. Its practice consists of responding to the call of the Holy Spirit to consent to the Divine presence and action within.

The Divine presence affirms our basic core of goodness made in the image of God.
The Divine action is the process of transformation in Christ which inspires and deepens our consent."

Contemplative Outreach, LTD aims to bring a global oneness:
At the heart of each local community are Centering Prayer groups, which make up local chapters. The local chapters, in turn, support regional groups, which together create a global community of oneness in silence.

Contemplative Outreach claims over 40,000 followers, over 120 active contemplative chapters in 39 countries and teaches over 15,000 people the practice of Centering Prayer.
