Life's Healing Choices: Rick Warren's 2009 Celebrate Recovery Videos...Now You See Them... Now You Don't

Saddleback's server responds: Video Not Found.

The following download error message indicates that the security settings have been changed for local viewing only...

Runtime Error Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons) It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine (emphasis mine).

Why did Saddleback change the settings? The videos were available for public view last week. The clip below came from one of the online videos. Could it be the fact that the Celebrate Recovery announcers plainly indicated at this 2009 Celebrate Recovery Summit that the fall 2009 Life's Healing Choices campaign for churches across the country is simply Celebrate Recovery for the nonaddicted?

Why would Saddleback block the videos that claim to heal your hurts, habits and hangups?

  1. Sorry, your article is inaccurate. This is simply an error message from Microsoft .Net telling you it won't display the error message for security reasons. This is due to the fact that sometimes Microsoft will display things in errors that you don't want users to know, like passwords and such used by the application but it is beneficial to a developer when debugging an application.

The article below details this error. I appreciate your diligence in exposing Warren's gross errors but in the future please talk to something with expertise in this area before making any type of accusations.

  2. Brandon,

Thanks for the clarification on the error message. I understand.

However the error message on the screen shot I posted states the video is unavailable.

Last week the videos were publicly accessible.

Why were the videos available last week and not this week?

There are no accusations. Just questions.

  4. I am currently in the process of possibly bringing the Celebrate Recovery Program to our church. I have disturbing evidence that Rick Warren who advocates the program has a different Bible he preaches from "The Message". Do you know if there are any ties from the Bible Rick Warren uses and the Bible that Celebrate Recovery uses. I do not have the CR Bible in it's entirety, but I do have a sample of it and it take the NIV and puts in with testimonies/devotions for the day. Do you know if the sample is just to get us to buy the entire bible and then it is just like "The Message" watered down fashion of the bible?

  5. Dear Anonymous,

No doubt samples are a form of marketing to promote book sales. The CR is advertised as the New International Version (NIV) of the Bible.

That's better than "The Message", but other versions (ie, ESV) would be recommended over the NIV.

However, the more urgent issue with CR is NOT Biblical at it's roots.

Please click on the articles listed above and see the demonic foundations of the 12-step recovery process.

Warren has "Christianized" that process and uses the NIV to validate the program.

"Recovery" is not a Biblical precept. It is a psycholocal concept that keeps you on the treadmill of group therapy.

A believer's confession, repentance and prayer is biblical.

Biblical healing is not in need of perpetual maintenance, nor is it in need of psychological manipulation.

But the 12 step program can't work without those elements.

As though it is not enough that Rick Warren has a Muslim physician Dr. Oz speak from his pulpit who wants to hypnotize all of America, it is time for all Christians to sever their unholy alliance with Apostate Rick Warren and publicly renounce him, and come out from among them!

"Warren is expected to award Blair with the annual International Medal of PEACE. The award is given to individuals who exemplify outstanding contribution toward alleviating the five global giants."

You have to wonder after Rick Warren gives Tony Blair his Global Peace Plan Prize, who's next? Gaddafi?

Blair is a globalist and has converted to Roman Catholicism...totally apostate...Hybels has no business promoting him, but should be marking him.

"I also mentioned Pastor Rick Warren who sits on the advisory board of the Tony Blair Faith Foundation that seeks to bring the religions of the world together."
