From Tom Kovach at America's Independent Party National Committee
"...In paragraph 41, the alleged president used a linguistic slide into dangerous territory. He referred to a future time when, "... the Holy Land of three great faiths is the place of peace that God intended it to be." The implication of that clause, and of the paragraph that surrounds it, is that Jews, Christians, and Muslims all worship and pray to the same being. They do not. (And, if they do, then why do the Muslims try to kill their "brothers"? And, why do they describe Christians and Jews as "apes and pigs"?) The idea that Allah could be the same as the God of the Bible is preposterous. The proofs are too numerous for this author to describe in a political column.
But, for those that are familiar with the Holy Bible, consider what Obama said about "peace and security" in the 33rd paragraph of his speech. Compare that to Isaiah 59:8 (remember, his name means "crooked"), Jeremiah 6:14, and 1st Thessalonians 5:3. Perhaps the "sudden destruction" that comes upon those that falsely proclaim peace and safety will be the War of Gog and Magog that was predicted by the Prophet Ezekiel.
