Storm Frank cuts power, floods homes in Britain

LONDON — Many homes remained flooded and without power on Thursday, after heavy rain and strong winds battered northern Britain.
Storm Frank spread on Tuesday and Wednesday, damaging property and affecting roads and rail services in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
The government-affiliated Environment Agency said more than 6,700 homes in the north of England were flooded during the last week as river levels reached all-time highs.
The Energy Networks Association, which represents power operators in the United Kingdom, said around 1,000 customers still had no power Thursday morning, and that energy to nearly 100,000 properties was restored since Tuesday.
Flood warnings remained in place in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland on Thursday.
Britain's Met Office removed it's severe weather warnings overnight Wednesday, but predicted some heavy showers on Thursday, and fine and dry weather in many areas on New Year's Day. It said that rain and strong winds are expected to return during the weekend, adding that storms such as Frank are not unusual for this time of year.
Britain's government has been criticized for its spending on flood defenses. Prime Minister David Cameron said $270 million a year will be spent on improvements in the next six years, but funding for protection against flooding has declined in the past five years, the National Audit Office said.

Freak storm pushes North Pole 50 degrees above normal to melting point

This story has been updated to include buoy measurements that confirm the North Pole temperature climbed above 32 degrees on Wednesday.
A powerful winter cyclone — the same storm that led to two tornado outbreaks in the United States and disastrous river flooding — has driven the North Pole to the freezing point this week, 50 degrees above average for this time of year.
From Tuesday evening to Wednesday morning, a mind-boggling pressure drop was recorded in Iceland: 54 millibars in just 18 hours. This triples the criteria for “bomb” cyclogenesis, which meteorologists use to describe a rapidly intensifying mid-latitude storm. A “bomb” cyclone is defined as dropping one millibar per hour for 24 hours.
NOAA’s Ocean Prediction Center said the storm’s minimum pressure dropped to 928 millibars around 1 a.m. Eastern time, which likely places it in the top five strongest storms on record in this region.
“According to the center’s records, the all-time strongest storm in this area occurred on Dec. 15, 1986, and that had a minimum central pressure of 900 millibars,” Mashable’s Andrew Freedman reported on Tuesday. “The second-strongest storm occurred in January 1993, with a pressure of 916 millibars.”
As this storm churns north, it’s forcing warm air into the Arctic Circle. Over the North Sea, sustained winds from the south are blasting at 70 mph, and gusting to well above 100 mph, drawing heat from south to north.

SUNSPOT ERUPTS, HURLS CME TOWARD EARTH - BRACE FOR MORE SEVERE WEATHER, QUAKES

AURORAS LIKELY THIS WEEK: 2015 could end with an outburst of auroras. NOAA forecasters say there is a 60% chance of polar geomagnetic storms on Dec. 30th when a CME (described below) is expected to hit Earth's magnetic field. There is an equal 60% chance that the storms will spill over into Dec. 31st, New Year's Eve. Aurora alerts: text or voice

SUNSPOT ERUPTS, HURLS CME TOWARD EARTH: After several days of pent-up quiet, big sunspot AR2473 erupted on Dec. 28th (12:49 UT), producing a slow but powerful M1.9-class solar flare. NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory recorded the blast's extreme ultraviolet glow:
For more than an hour, UV radiation from the flare bathed the top of Earth's atmosphere, ionizing atoms and molecules. This, in turn, disrupted the normal propagation of shortwave radio signals on the dayside of our planet. A NOAA blackout map shows the affected area. Ham radio operators, mariners and aviators in South America, Africa and the south Atlantic Ocean may have noticed fades and blackouts of transmissions below 20 MHz.

The slow explosion also produced a coronal mass ejection (CME). Images from the Solar and Heliospheric Obseratory (SOHO) show a ragged, full-halo CME heading almost directly toward Earth:

Muslims Call Erdogan God

Erdogan Has Just Been Declared The Leader Of The Entire Muslim World, Muslims Are Already Calling Him God

by Walid Shoebat on December 27, 2015 in General,FeaturedHighlight

On the right, Hayrettin Karaman , the main Fatwa giver in Turkey who is announcing to prep Erdogan as Caliph of the Muslim World

By Walid Shoebat

Below we will discuss a multitude of biblical references to show how far this one man matches what Scripture refers to as “the man of sin,” but before we do, 2016 will yield much to monitor Turkey’s rise to a Caliphate system which its initiation was sparked when on this Friday, Hayrettin Karaman, Erdogan’s main Fatwa giver issued some very strange declarations.

As he wrote for Yeni Safak, the pro-Erdogan main newspaper under the control of Erdogan in Istanbul. In his article regarding the new presidential system which Erdogan wants to establish, Karaman desperately defended Erdogan and declared what we were saying all along they will do; thatErdogan will soon become the Caliph for all Muslims. The following is a presentation of the exciting part in an article Hayrettin Karaman wrote:

“During the debate on the presidential system, here is what everyone must do so while taking into account the direction of the world’s national interest and the future of the country and not focus on the party or a particular person. What this [presidential system] looks like is theIslamic caliphate system interms of its mechanism. In this system the people choose the leader,  the Prince, and then all will pledge theBay’ah [allegiance] and then the chosen  president appoints the high government bureaucracy and he cannot interfere in the judiciary where the Committee will audit legislation independent of the president. ” Hayrettin Karaman

This one statement yields a multitude of prophetic consequences. Bay’at, as Islam calls it, which is “giving allegiance,” is the hallmark of the Antichrist as John declared: “but the fatal wound was healed! The whole world marveled at this miracle and gaveallegiance to the beast” (Revelation 13:3).

And here this man who is given allegiance to is called “The Prince”, exactly as predicted in Daniel 9:26.

Erdogan qualifies to be “king of fierce countenance” (Daniel 8:23)

Karaman is the major Islamist fatwa-giver in Turkey, one of Erdogan’s main henchmen and a practitioner of Muruna, the Muslim Brotherhood’s allowance for sanctioning Islamic prohibition in the case of Jihad,  which means that the Mufti can bend Islamic Sharia to produce favorable fatwas, whatever it takes to establish an Islamic Caliphate. Hosea 12:7 tells us of the Antichrist: “He is a merchant, the balances of deceit are in his hand: he loveth to oppress.” The “Balance of deceit” is exactly how the three decade Islamic doctrine, Muruna, is defined as the “Doctrine of Balance” where a Muslim can balance between good and evil and is sanctioned to do evil for the sake of victory. “He will be a master of deception and will become arrogant; he will destroy many without warning.” (Daniel 8:25)

As Today’s Zaman assess Erdogan’s caliphate of corruption through Muruna and by giving him full allegiance:

This is how Erdogan was able to legitimize the corrupt and illegal practices of the Islamist politicians and businessmen. This includes getting bank credit with interest, a system not sanctioned by Islam but is sanctioned through Muruna, donating huge amounts of money to the charities of politicians in return for favorable public tenders and contracts, and even getting people killed for the benefit of the state. As Ali Bulaç wrote some time ago, Erdoğan started getting these fatwas after becoming mayor of Istanbul in 1994.

According to the general theory of political Islam, the relationship between those who lead and those who are led is based upon a “contract of allegiance.” Those who are led declare, via their representatives, that they will obey their leader, thus surrendering all of their political rights — unconditionally — to said leader. And so the contract draws up the parameters for both sides: The leader will lead justly, while those who are led will be obedient. In the meantime, within the traditions of political Islam, those who use their power in this way are called “caliphs.” And a caliphate is, for leaders who rely upon religious references in the Islamic world, the name of the system that they will inevitably turn towards.

Karaman very recently wrote another column on the caliphate. He argues that it is the best regime. His formulation is not a democratic one. Similar to Iran’s ayatollahs and mullahs, he wants to create a “mullahcracy” where the serious decisions will be given by Erdoğan’s mouthpiece fatwa-givers, not by the people. His Yeni Safak piece is one the greatest enigmas of the Erdoğan era.

The situation in Turkey as some analysts reveal is likened to the Nazi era just prior to the holocaust. Erdogan wants the annihilation, a literal holocaust, of all of his opponents. Daily Zaman, the Turkish news media persecuted by Erdoganexposes:

Nowadays, the AKP’s propaganda machine propagates that Hizmet volunteers are traitors and infidels. According to a poll that the İstanbul Institute conducted, 40 percent of people believe the Hizmet is made up of infidels. Many more see the movement as a puppet of the West. Pro-Justice and Development Party (AKP) figure Hayrettin Karaman issued a terrible fatwa about two years ago that, for the sake of protecting the state civilians and religious groups, should be terminated. Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu stated that for the state, even the offspring of Hizmet volunteers should be sacrificed. Many pro-AKP figures in social media keep writing that the lives, properties and wives of the Hizmet volunteers are “halal” (permissible to be confiscated) by the Caliph, i.e. Erdoğan.

We are of course not at that stage, thanks to external and domestic factors. Yet, the AKP regime started imprisoning Hizmet volunteers just because they donated money to Hizmet associations. The AKP has also been confiscating properties of Hizmet businessmen. So far, similar to the Holocaust, very few people in Turkey and abroad have vehemently objected to this and many more have been silently watching, thanks to the anti-Hizmet propaganda that they have been listening to for decades.

Hizmet is the Gülen movement and is a transnational religious and social movement led by Turkish Islamic scholar and preacher Fethullah Gülen. The movement has no official name but it is usually referred to as Hizmet (“the Service”) by its followers and as Cemaat (“the Community/Assembly”) by the broader public in Turkey.

When viewed in light of the natural balances between civil and political Islam, the current tension we see between the Gülen movement and Erdoğan makes much more sense. The war unleased by Erdoğan against the Gülen movement is at the same time a war unleashed by political Islam against civil Islam. By declaring the civil arena the enemy, Erdoğan has radicalized the political arena. And today, in order to wield power and authority that is not constitutionally his, Erdoğan has a need for strong Islamic models such as the caliphate.

The article written by a man with foresight named Ihsan Yilmaz concluded:

I do not want to disrespect the noble memory of the Holocaust victims by likening their terrible fate to what is happening nowadays to the Hizmet Movement volunteers in Turkey. The Holocaust is not, and cannot be, comparable with any human suffering on earth. It is unique. Nevertheless, I argue that human nature has always essentially been the same and evil humans have always acted in similar ways. The motivations, argumentations, tactics and actions of today’s cruel humans are not very much different from the Nazis. It is true that what Hizmet volunteers have suffered so far is not even one millionth of what the innocent Jews suffered. But if the evil people in Turkey can find it necessary to eradicate the movement and if they can find the opportunity, they will not hesitate to follow the footsteps of the Nazis. Let me explain.

First of all, unfortunately, Turkish socio-political culture is not immune from the sickness of trying to destroy the other. Especially when it comes to political dissent, the states on these lands have acted swiftly and brutally. Ottoman history is full of such terrible examples of crushing dissent by brute force, the Alevis being the main sufferers. What the secular-nationalist Young Turks did to the Armenians in 1915 speaks for itself. While hundreds of thousands of Armenian men, women and children lost their lives, their Kurdish and Turkish neighbors were either “buying” their goods and properties for very cheap prices or they were looting them. The many heroic Kurds and Turks (officials and civilians) who helped the Armenians were not treated well by the rulers. The Greeks also had similar problems. During the night of September 6-7, 1955, their goods and properties were looted as a result of a government-motivated pogrom. While some Alevi intellectuals were being burned, most probably by the deep state, at a hotel in Madimak in the early 1990s, thousands of Sunni civilians were watching the fire without feeling anything, to say the least.

When Erdogan’s party had a major setback, many thought it was his end. But by meticulous study of Daniel’s text, we accurately predict...

...Qaradawi, the spiritual head of the Sunni Muslim world, declared Erdogan speaking of a sign of the end of the world when he declared that the “angelic host will soon descend on earth” after this establishment of the coming Caliphate in Turkey. From a Christian perspective this is the casting of the fallen angels which Daniel the prophet spoke about the minions of the Luminous One, Lucifer are finally cast out and the Antichrist of Isaiah 14 to soon be revealed. Qaradawi speaks of confederacy sparked by Turkey of different Muslim states mentioned in several major Scripture passages (Dan 2:31-35, 40-45; 7:7-8, 19-24; Rev 13:1-2; 17:3, 7, 12-16, Ezekiel 30 “the league” and the entire context of Ezekiel 28-31)

More than 100,000 people evacuated their homes in the bordering areas of Paraguay, Uruguay, Brazil and Argentina due to severe flooding in the wake of heavy summer rains brought on by El Niño, authorities said.

The Paraguayan government declared a state of emergency in Asunción and seven regions of the country. Several people were killed by falling trees, local media reported.

“[The flooding] was directly influenced by the El Niño phenomenon which has intensified the frequency and intensity of rains,” the national emergencies office said.

This year’s El Niño, which is linked to global climate fluctuations, is the worst in more than 15 years, according to the UN’s World Meteorological Organisation (WMO).

“Severe droughts and devastating flooding being experienced throughout the tropics and subtropical zones bear the hallmarks of this El Niño,” said WMO chief Michel Jarraud.

In northern Argentina about 20,000 people had to abandon their homes, the government said.

US death toll at 43 as wild weather tears across central states

Hundreds of flights across the area have been canceled, and with portions of major highways flooded, the storm system is wreaking havoc in holiday travel plans for millions of Americans.

The National Weather Service is warning of blizzards, freezing rain and flash floods in the next days, all part of a powerful storm system fueled by unseasonably warm air that began in the deep south last Wednesday.

The NWS said Monday that 21 states -- from New Mexico to as far north as Michigan -- are under a weather watch or warning as part of the storm system.

The governors of New Mexico, Texas and Missouri declared states of emergency for all or parts of their states to handle storm damage on Sunday. Alabama, Mississippi and Georgia earlier took similar measures.

The rare December twisters flattened homes and knocked cars off of highways. The NWS said that at least nine twisters touched down in the region late Saturday.

Hardest-hit was the Dallas suburb of Garland, where authorities confirmed eight fatalities after a tornado packing winds of up to 200 miles (320 kilometers) per hour bore down on the city.

City officials said this is only the second time since 1950 that such a powerful tornado struck the area.

Aerial footage showed rows of flattened homes, while others had roofs blown off and windows shattered. Some 600 buildings were damaged or destroyed, officials said.

"We're going to look at every house and every car to try to make sure we find everybody," Garland Mayor Douglas Athas told CNN.

Tornados are common in the US midwest in the spring, but rare during winter.

Associated Press, Dec 15, 2015 (emphasis added): Fukushima decommission chief [Naohiro Masuda] warns with surprising candor: Nothing can be promised… not even robots have been able to enter the main fuel-debris areas so far… “This is something that has never been experienced. A textbook doesn’t exist for something like this,” Masuda told The Associated Press… “Before, it was a war zone,” Masuda said quietly… [E]ven the most optimistic projections estimate the work will take about half a century. Masuda said without hesitation thatmore delays could be in orderNo one knows exactly where the melted nuclear debris is sitting in the reactors, let alone how exactly the debris might be taken out… New science will have to be invented for the plant to be cleaned up… The March 2011 catastrophe is unprecedented… [T]he containment, where the morass of fuel lies, has been breached… And as devastating as the 1986 Chernobyl disaster was in what is now Ukraine, that involved one reactor, not three. When asked about what he wanted to tell the people worried about contaminated fish, such as on the West Coast of North and South America, Masuda said the radiation leak into the Pacific Ocean has been reduced to a level one-millionth of what it was in 2011… “They don’t need to worry, and, if there is anything to worry about, we will be out with that information,” he said… Masuda also acknowledged that Japan has not done as good a job as it should have on relaying the harsh realities at the plant.

  • 42:45 – Murata: “There is an important findings by a Christian who is engaged in helping people in the disaster area. He made 560 interviews and he has found out that themothers are extremely worried about the health of children. They say waiting 5 years is the maximum, and even being divorced if necessary, they will emigrate from the actual place. He foresees a large scale movement of residents – evacuations and emigration. He thinks on the occasion of the fifth anniversary — next spring, next March 11th — all data foreign and Japanese journalists have amassed so far will be made public. They must wait for this special occasion, otherwise they couldn’t obtain incomes. This fifth anniversary will be an occasion to disclose this dataThis will change completely the atmosphere and he foresees even a social change, just like 3/11 has brought about.”
  • 44:30 — Murata:  ”We are most seriously worried about the health of children… In Fukushima the government has allowed the residents to come back at 20 millisieverts [per year, compared to Chernobyl's limit of 5 millisieverts per year]… This is most serious humanitarian matter, if we think about the health of children. So I am asserting theevacuation of children is urgently needed.”

Britain: Storm Eva's Unprecedented Flooding

Hundreds evacuated after further flooding in northern England – latest updates

Army called in as flooding misery continues in York, Leeds and elsewhere

The Prime Minister has promised to send more troops to “do whatever is needed” to help people in large swathes of northern England stricken by floods.

Thousands of people are being evacuated after “unprecedented” levels of rain have caused rivers to burst their banks and left homes under water in York, Leeds and Manchester.

Cameron chaired a conference call of the Government’s emergency Cobra committee as ministers worked to tackle the problem.

Afterwards he said: “I’ve just chaired a Cobra meeting on the unprecedented flooding. Huge thanks to the emergency services and military for doing so much.

“Also my sympathy for those affected at this time of year. More troops are being deployed as part of a plan to do whatever is needed.”

He told the BBC: “What has happened - the level of the rivers, plus the level of rainfall has created an unprecedented effect and so some very serious flooding. The Cobra call has been important because we’ve decided to deploy more military resources, more military personnel, to help.

Several buildings, including two local churches, were destroyed in a tornado in the Ellis County area just before 6 p.m. CT, as other parts of the state braced for what some forecasters are calling a "historic" blizzard.

"We have destroyed and damaged homes," tweeted Stephanie Parker, Ellis County emergency manager. "Please do not get out on the roads if you do not have to."

AP

Lightning illuminates a house after a tornado touched down in Jefferson County, Ala., damaging several houses, on Dec. 25, 2015, in Birmingham, Ala.

At least five of the fatalities occurred near Interstate 30 and the George Bush Turnpike northeast of Dallas as multiple cars became caught in the severe weather. Several vehicles plunged as far as 17 feet from a bridge in the area, Garland Police spokesman Mike Hatfield said.

Additional people could have perished, he said.

"We are dealing with darkness," Hatfield said. "So we're trying to utilize search patterns to see if we've got any other victims."

Three, including an infant, were found dead in Copeville, about 20 miles northeast of Dallas, according to the Collin County Sheriff's Office.

A family of four were trapped inside a destroyed house and were texting messages asking for help, according to another police report.

"We've got power lines down everywhere and gas leaks," a police officer near Rowlett told a dispatcher, noting "a lot of leveled houses" and people trapped.

Search and rescue efforts are ongoing, authorities said.

More than 30 tornado warnings were issued across North Texas as the storm closed Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport for about an hour.

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth confirmed that a tornado touched down south of Dallas and said it had multiple reports of flash flooding in the area. Thousands in the area were placed under flash flood and tornado warnings.

Local authorities urged residents to avoid Garland, Rowlett and Sunnyvale, which were in the path of the tornado.

Earlier Saturday, forecasters warned the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles to be ready for a blizzard that could dump 6 to 15 inches of snow. Amarillo and Lubbock, Texas, were in the path of storm.

A blizzard warning went into effect for the region at 6 p.m. Saturday and lasts until Monday morning. High winds are forecast to drop wind chills to as low as 10 degrees below zero. Blizzard warnings also were in effect for parts of northern and central New Mexico.

"The combination of strong winds and heavy snow will create blizzard conditions from Roswell, New Mexico, to Lubbock and Amarillo, Texas," AccuWeather Meteorologist Brett Rathbun said.

Ice could create travel headaches Sunday into Monday from west-central Texas to central Oklahoma, central Kansas, southeastern Nebraska and southwestern Iowa.

The system comes after days of unseasonably warm weather fueled torrential rain and deadly storms in the southern U.S. this week, leaving at least 18 people in three states dead before Saturday. Flash floods hit Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi and Tennessee on Christmas Day. Flood warnings remained in effect for parts of northern Alabama on Saturday.

Damage was limited after a tornado touched down around 5 p.m. CT Friday just 10 miles outside Birmingham, Ala., knocking down trees in a working-class neighborhood. Several people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries and some were trapped inside damaged homes, Lt. Sean Edwards, a Birmingham police spokesman, told the Associated Press.

Into Sunday, severe thunderstorms and heavy rain are likely in eastern Oklahoma, Arkansas, north-central Texas, Mississippi and Louisiana, with more flooding possible, according to the National Weather Service.

Snow also will target a vast area from southeast Wyoming to northern Michigan through Sunday with the heaviest snow accumulations of 10 to 15 or more inches forecast from southern Minnesota to northern Michigan, the National Weather Service said. The system will move into the Great Lakes and Northeast on Sunday and Monday, bringing 5 to 10 inches of snow for central and northern Maine.

The snow and winter weather in the central states this weekend will move toward the eastern Tennessee Valley early next week, followed by cooling temperatures that should bring more normal weather to the South and Northeast by midweek, said forecaster Corey Mead of the weather service's Storm Prediction Cente

Death Toll Rises to 14 After Tornadoes, Storms Ravage South

by ELIZABETH CHUCK, M. ALEX JOHNSON and MOLLY ROECKER

Authorities raised the death toll Thursday night to 14 people, including a young boy, after a spring-like storm system swept across the Southeast.

The storms mixed with unseasonably warm weather, spawning tornadoes that killed people in Mississippi, Tennessee, and Arkansas. Dozens more people were injured.

The Tennessee Health Department said Thursday night that it had confirmed three additional deaths in Maury County, where the storm system created heavy rain and dangerous wind gusts Wednesday night. It said no further details were available.

The storms — which the National Weather Service called a "particularly dangerous situation" for an area that spanned eastern Arkansas, northwest Mississippi, northeast Louisiana and western Tennessee — destroyed homes and caused power failures Wednesday.

Three other people were killed in Tennessee, where heavy rain continued to soak the eastern border but was expected to move out of the state late Thursday. A 22-year-old man who wasn't identified died in Rhea County. In Perry County, Annie Yzaguirre, 69, and Antonio Gomez Yzaguirre, 70, died, interim Sheriff Nick Weems told NBC News.

The youngest of the victims was a 7-year-old boy in Holly Springs, Mississippi, who was killed in a van on Highway 7 as storms swept through the town, according to Marshall County Coroner James Anderson. Tree limbs and debris covered the highway Thursday, and emergency crews worked to restore downed power lines.

At least six other people died in Mississippi. Four of the deaths were in Benton County, where another person was unaccounted for, officials said. Two were in Marshall County, and the other was in Tippah County.

"It is difficult, particularly this time of year, to see such damage and know that heartbreaks go along with that damage, that families have lost loved ones," Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant said at a news conference Thursday afternoon. "There's no good side to this, but at least the storm was not in highly populated areas, like a downtown."

U.S. Terror Front Groups Threaten Trump

ALERT: Terrorist Front Group Makes Chilling Threat To Donald Trump… But It Gets Even Wor

Billionaire businessman and presidential candidate Donald Trump has taken quite a bit of fire from politicians and the mediaregarding his tough rhetoric about radicalized Muslims.

Now he is receiving thinly veiled threats from several American Muslim organizations, terror front groups all, if he persists with his “bigotry” and “Islamaphobia,” according toCNS News.

“Let it be heard, and clear, to all political candidates, be it Donald Trump or whoever else, that indeed, if you engage in Islamophobia, if you engage in demagoguery and bigotry, you will pay a political price,” declared Mahdi Bray, director of the American Muslim Alliance, during a Monday press conference.

“Because we’re going to register our people and we’re going to use our ballot and we’re going to ‘take our souls to the polls’ and make sure you are out of there,” Bray added.

The executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, Nihad Awad, was quick to point out that none of the groups were endorsing a specific candidate, a violation of their 501(c)(3) non-profit status, before adding, “but yes, we’re going to be engaged, and as we say, ‘in November we will remember.’”

Altaf Husain, vice-president of the Islamic Society of North America, threateningly warned, “If you as a political candidate choose to spew hatred, bigotry, and to vilify Muslim Americans, you do so at your own political risk.”

The Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated terrorist front groups have essentially threatened action against not only Donald Trump, but any politician on either side of the aisle who dares to speak out against the dangers of radical Islamic terrorism.

“Impacts will be greatest in Cumbria hence the Met Office has issued an amber warning for the region.
“Although Sunday will be a bit calmer there is another system moving in from the Atlantic on Monday with unsettled weather expected into the New Year.
“Later on Tuesday there is the risk of gales or sever gales as another low pressure moves towards the UK, western and northern regions are expected to be worst affected.”
Chief forecaster Frank Saunders said: “There remains uncertainty over where the heaviest rainfall will occur in the warning area, but around 60 to 80mm [3 ins] is likely to fall quite widely over high ground, with 120mm [4.7 ins] possible over the most exposed sites.”
Despite the stormy outlook temperatures will stay well-above average for the time of year over the coming days.

The Lord Drives Out Nations and Their gods

2 Samuel 7

22 “How great you are, Sovereign Lord! There is no one like you, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears. 23 And who is like your people Israel—the one nation on earth that God went out to redeem as a people for himself, and to make a name for himself, and to perform great and awesome wonders by driving out nations and their gods from before your people, whom you redeemed from Egypt?[d] 24 You have established your people Israel as your very own forever, and you, Lord, have become their God.

The Day of Vengeance;  The Year of Redemption

God’s Day of Vengeance and Redemption

Isaiah 63

1 Who is this coming from Edom,

from Bozrah, with his garments stained crimson?
Who is this, robed in splendor,
striding forward in the greatness of his strength?

“It is I, proclaiming victory,
    mighty to save.”

Why are your garments red,
like those of one treading the winepress?

“I have trodden the winepressalone;
from the nations no one was with me.
I trampled them in my anger
    and trod them down in my wrath;
their blood spattered my garments,
and I stained all my clothing.
It was for me the day of vengeance;
the year for me to redeem had come.
I looked, but there was no one to help,
    I was appalled that no one gave support;
so my own arm achieved salvation for me,
and my own wrath sustained me.
I trampled the nations in my anger;
in my wrath I made them drunk
and poured their blood on the ground.”

U.S. : Winter Storm Goliath

Winter Storm Goliath will spread snow from the mountains of the West to parts of the Plains, Upper Midwest and possibly New England through early next week. Some of the heaviest snow amounts may target parts of the southern High Plains where strong winds could also cause blizzard conditions. As a result, NOAA's National Weather Service has posted blizzard watches for parts of this area.

(MORE: Science Behind Naming Winter Storms)

A variety of other winter storm watches, warnings and advisories are in effect across the Plains from Texas northward to South Dakota. While mainly snow is anticipated across the central to northern Plains, a combination of snow, ice and rain will fall over parts of Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas.

In addition to snow, the warm side of Goliath will produce severe thunderstorms and heavy rain this weekend. For more on that story, click the link below.

City OK's Satanists' Desecration of Church Statue on Christmas Eve

Reaction Grows Against Desecration of Mary Statue on Christmas Eve

Contact: Robert Ritchie, 717-309-1990

SPRING GROVE, Penn., Dec. 21, 2015 /Christian Newswire/ -- Oklahoma City Officials have allowed Satanists to desecrate a statue of the Blessed Mother on Christmas Eve on the sidewalk in front of the Old Catholic Cathedral.

Satanist Adam Daniels told The Oklahoman that he plans to pour costume blood over a statue of the Virgin Mary, treated with "sulfur powder and ash."

"The purpose of the blood is to add another layer of corruption to Mary, which is an emblem of the Catholic Church," he said.

This attack on Holy Mary is not just a morbid cry for media attention.

It represents a new threshold of anti-God sentiment in America.

Satanic activity has long been done in private. Now, it's flaunted before a Catholic Cathedral on Christmas Eve, a most holy and cherished time of year.

On the day before the desecration, America Needs Fatima volunteers will hold a peaceful Rosary Rally of Reparation in front of the Oklahoma City City Hall.

Time and date: Wednesday, Dec. 23, from 12 noon to 1:00 PM.
Call 888-317-5571 for details.

Please sign the petition asking Oklahoma City to rescind the permit given to Satanists to desecrate the statue of Mary Most Holy.
