The Hebrew name for Perseus is Peretz, which means the Breaker. This represents Messiah when he comes with His saints to defeat the beast in Revelation 19:11- 21. His white horse is Pegasus. Pegasus in Hebrew, Peka-Sus, means chief horse.
The comet's magnitude went from 17 to 2...interesting to note also that Genesis 17:2 and verses following speak of God's everlasting covenent with Abraham as the father of many nations and the God promises the land of Canaan to Abraham and his offspring.

We asked the following question:
Is comet Holmes a prophetic sign? That remains to be seen. However, given the upcoming "Peace" summit in November when Jerusalem probably will be "divided", the comet's behavior, timing and location is noteworthy.

New Scientist.com reports Dazzling comet outburst continues to mystify.
"The comet was actually discovered during a similar, but less spectacular, brightening event in November 1892...Interestingly, in both the 1892 event and the recent one, the comet initially brightened about five months after reaching perihelion – its closest approach to the Sun...
It's curious that the outburst came in the same period of orbit," says Brian Marsden, former director of the Minor Planet Center at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics in Massachusetts, US."
A look back in Jewish history to October - November 1892 reveals:

Fast-forward 115 years to November 2007 and ironically we see the Israeli government preparing to divide Jerusalem as a concession to the upcoming Annapolis peace talks.
Is it just a coincidence that Comet 17P Holmes appeared and increased in brightness during the same time period ( Oct - Nov) 115 years ago as it has in it's second appearance in 2007?
