Stand With Apprising Ministries

APPRISING MINISTRIES UPDATE

a
We do want to thank you for your continued patience, prayer, and support, during this very difficult time of testing that the Lord has seen fit to allow.

You’ve likely noticed that, while there have been a few new ones lately, posting has still remained rather sporadic here at Apprising Ministries.

Last time you may recall I mentioned that the doctors who treated the osteomyelitis affecting my spine believe I’m progressing as well as can be expected.

I also told you of some swelling and bruising underneath the middle outside of my left foot and a growth inside of it near the pad underneath the little toe.

The other day I was finally able to have a podiatrist, who is also knowledgeable about the Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) disease I was born with, examine the growth.

In that regard we did receive some good news, fortunately it turns out that this is only a cyst common to people with CMT and it’s not cancerous, which was a relief.

On another note, for months I’ve been on some heavy medications for pain. Even though there’s a weaning process off of them, I’m still battling some withdrawal symptoms.

Unfortunately, I’m told these may be with me for a while. I would say over-all they’re slowly improving; but it still affects the way my eyes feel and also interferes with my vision.

Right now my eyes seem to tire very easily. This makes it very hard to read and to deal with a computer screen because I’m having difficulty getting my eyes to focus on print.

Even so, at times when that feeling clears for a while, and as I felt up to it, I’ve put on some devotionals. In addition, I’m also going to try and write a couple of times a week.

So, even though this is a very difficult time, the news isn’t all bad. However, donations are way down and are still a real concern due to expenses from my long hospital stay.

If you would like to help us out in this time of need, your prayer and financial support would be deeply appreciated. If you feel so led, you may donate via PayPal by clicking here.

Or, you can make your checks/money orders payable to Connecticut River Baptist Church with Apprising Ministries in the memo and send them to:
