Demanding Accountability for Purpose-Driven Failures

"Earlier this week I pointed readers to the Orange County Register article that reported the layoffs and restructuring over at ‘Purpose-Driven’ ministries. Now Christianity Today has picked up on the story and has written about the layoffs at Purpose-Driven. I insist that the leaders at Purpose-Driven be held accountable for their failures!I’m doing this because over the past few years THEY have been judging other ministries and churches and pronounced them to be failures because they were not growing. For years the folks at Purpose-Driven have been selling a ‘miracle program’ that guaranteed growth. THEY have been promising a minimum of 20% growth to every church that follows THEIR methods."
