Pope's summit ‘a stunning letdown’
Advocates: Pope’s anti-abuse summit ‘a stunning letdown’
Boston advocates for clergy sexual assault victims are slamming the conclusion of Pope Francis’ much-anticipated four-day summit on abuse as “a stunning letdown” devoid of real solutions and accountability for church officials who cover up abuse.
“They’ve come up with nothing, and I feel that it’s unacceptable,” Phil Saviano, a Boston-based advocate for survivors of clergy sexual abuse, told the Herald after the summit wrapped up Sunday.
Anne Barrett Doyle of the Waltham-based BishopAccountability organization said Francis’ words without major action was “a stunning letdown, a catastrophic misreading of the grief and outrage of the faithful.”
But Cardinal Sean O’Malley, the archbishop of Boston and point-man for Pope Francis’ anti-abuse efforts, struck a starkly different tone. Archdiocesan spokesman Terrence Donilon said O’Malley was “pleased to have participated” in the event and “believes it was a powerful experience of new and greater awareness for the Holy Father, bishops and all gathered as they heard testimony from survivors, religious sisters and other participants.”

Trump Cuts $60 million from Planned Parenthood
WASHINGTON, D.C., February 22, 2019 (LifeSiteNews)
The Trump administration’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) released its final rule changing funding regulations under the Title X family planning program, a long-awaited action expected to reduce Planned Parenthood’s federal tax subsidies by almost $60 million.
President Donald Trump announced the move last May, which will require facilities providing Title X services to be physically separate from those that commit or refer for abortions. Under the previous rules, Title X services and abortions could “co-locate” in the same center, as long as the abortions were privately funded. Now, the money will be redirected to Women's Qualified Health Centers that are not involved in abortions, which dramatically outnumber Planned Parenthood locations across the United States.

Science One Step Closer to Mutant X-Men
Four new DNA letters double life’s alphabet
"...Now scientists have doubled this number of life’s building blocks, creating for the first time a synthetic, eight-letter genetic language that seems to store and transcribe information just like natural DNA.
In a study published on 22 February in Science1, a consortium of researchers led by Steven Benner, founder of the Foundation for Applied Molecular Evolution in Alachua, Florida, suggests that an expanded genetic alphabet could, in theory, also support life."
"...But the latest study is the first to systematically demonstrate that the complementary unnatural bases recognise and bind to each other, and that the double helix that they form holds its structure.
"The researchers then conducted a series of experiments that showed that their synthetic sequences shares properties with natural DNA that are essential for supporting life."
"Benner’s team has also developed further pairs of new bases, opening up the possibility of creating DNA structures that contain 10 or even 12 letters. But the fact that the researchers have already expanded the genetic alphabet to eight is in itself remarkable, says Romesberg. “It’s already doubling what nature has.”

VIGANΓ on the Summit Sham
VIGANΓ: NO ‘GENUINE WILLINGNESS’ AMONG BISHOPS TO END ABUSE CRISIS
"...Why does the word "homosexuality" never appear in recent official documents of the Holy See? ... the fact remains that the overwhelming majority of abuse has been inflicted on post-pubescent boys by homosexual clerics. It is mere hypocrisy to condemn the abuse and claim to sympathize with the victims without facing up to this fact honestly."
"...Why does the word "homosexuality" never appear in recent official documents of the Holy See? ...but the fact remains that the overwhelming majority of abuse has been inflicted on post-pubescent boys by homosexual clerics.
"...Why does Pope Francis keep and even call as his close collaborators people who are notorious homosexuals?...Why has he refused to answer legitimate and sincere questions about these appointments? In doing so he has lost credibility on his real will to reform the Curia and fight the corruption."
In August, ViganΓ² revealed that just months into his papacy, Francis lifted penalties from then-Cdl. Theodore McCarrick, a serial sexual predator of seminarians and altar boys. He also observed that the Pope appointed Cdl. Francesco Coccopalmerio and Abp. Vincenzo Paglia to positions of power, noting that both men "belong to the homosexual current in favor of subverting Catholic doctrine on homosexuality."

The Vatican Summit of Lies and Cover-ups
Cupich owes his rise up the clerical ladder to, first, Cardinal Maradiaga — who himself is a cover-up artist of his own auxiliary bishop, outed by dozens of seminarians for him sexually assaulting them — and, second, Theodore McCarrick, who put the "H" in homosexual predator.
So with Cupich having that kind of ecclesiastical genealogy, of course he's going to say it's just all an unproven hypothesis. The reason it's technically unproven is precisely because the only men on the planet who could prove it are all part of the cover-up.
When Archbishop ViganΓ² issued his first statement back in August, he identified the players, and Cupich was one of them. So there, Your Eminence, why not investigate that? Cupich has made a career out of covering up for the homosexual current and keeping it going.
Numerous seminarians at the Pontifical College Josephinum in Columbus, Ohio are saying how Cupich, as rector there, promoted a highly charged gay culture. A number of them actually challenged Cupich over it."

Catholic cardinals urge end of 'homosexual agenda'
Two prominent Roman Catholic Church cardinals have urged an end of what they call "the plague of the homosexual agenda", telling bishops to break their complicity over cases of sexual abuse.
In an open letter, Cardinals Burke and BrandmΓΌller say the Church has wrongly blamed the abuse of power by clergy as the main cause of the scandals.
Instead, they say the cases involve priests who have "gone away from the truth of the Gospel".
They also openly criticise the Pope.
Stories of sexual abuse of minors have emerged across the world and the Church has been accused of covering up crimes committed by priests.
Their letter comes on the eve of an extraordinary summit of bishops in Rome called by Pope Francis as an effort to deal with the scandals rocking the Church.

Pope says church's attackers are linked to devil
Pope Francis says that those who are constantly attacking the church are linked to the devil.
Francis on Wednesday told pilgrims from southern Italy that the church's "defects" must be denounced in order to correct them.
But he said that those who do so without love and spend their lives "accusing" the church are either the devil's friends or relatives.
Francis spoke on the eve of a Vatican summit on clergy sex abuse and cover-ups by the church's hierarchy.
Detractors, including a former Vatican ambassador to the United States, have accused him of not properly dealing with top prelates and priests who were suspected abusers.
Francis didn't cite specific accusations nor mention the summit in his remarks.

Whistle Blower Exposes Satanism in the Catholic Ranks
James Grein, the victim of ExCardinal Theodore McCarrick, explains his recent testimony to Catholic Vatican Officials regarding ex Cardinal McCarrick and further explains McCarrick's connection to St Gallen, Switzerland (Sankt Gallen Mafia) and the plan in Rome with Pope Francis moving forward into 2019.
From CHURCH MILITANT:
"...Grein's story first appeared in The New York Times but did not identify him by his full name. He first came completely public at the Silence Stops Now rally in Baltimore hosted by Church Militant and a coalition of concerned lay groups.
In his speech at the rally, Grein gave details of the decade-plus homosexual abuse endured by him from McCarrick. He also gave further details on a YouTube video with Dr. Taylor Marshall.
Between the New York Times article, his speech at the rally, his interview with Taylor Marshall and an additional interview he gave Church Militant following his testimony against McCarrick given in New York last week, it appears Dolan may have his airtight case."

Satanism & The Vatican
Troubling signs that Satanism is infiltrating Catholic Church
February 6, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) – People are uncomfortable talking about Satanism, but there are so many whispers about its inroads these days that the subject is at last coming out into the open. Since Satan-worshiping tends, of its very nature, to be done in darkness, it is hard to get hold of solid evidence about who may be involved, and how pervasive it may be. In his lengthy interviews with Taylor Marshall on YouTube, abuse victim James Grein hints at possible Satanic elements in connection with McCarrick, the St. Galen group, and others involved in the wave of scandals that has overtaken the hierarchy, including the papacy.
The most powerful churchmen will suffer the greatest temptation to ally themselves with the “angel of light” who attempts to rival God and overthrow His order—an order most apparent in the differentiation of the human race into male and female, and the ordering of sexual activity to procreation. Any powerful man in the Church, if he does not bend all his effort to sanctifying his soul and body in accord with supernatural virtue, will be drawn to defile his soul and body with unnatural vice. Those who are not totally committed to Christ will find themselves sliding down into the party of His archenemy.
The recent news regarding the promotion by Pope Francis of Argentine bishop Gustavo Oscar Zanchetta to a senior position at the Vatican despite, it appears, already-known serious accusations against him is yet another example, among so many, of how this pope surrounds himself with unsavory characters. So far from being committed to moral reform, he empowers those who are morally compromised, while distancing or disgracing those who are morally strong.

Southern Baptist Convention Washes Their Hands of Sexual Abuse
20 years, 700 victims: Southern Baptist sexual abuse spreads as leaders resist reforms
By Robert Downen, Lise Olsen, and John Tedesco
Multimedia by Jon Shapley
Thirty-five years later, Debbie Vasquez's voice trembled as she described her trauma to a group of Southern Baptist leaders.
She was 14, she said, when she was first molested by her pastor in Sanger, a tiny prairie town an hour north of Dallas. It was the first of many assaults that Vasquez said destroyed her teenage years and, at 18, left her pregnant by the Southern Baptist pastor, a married man more than a dozen years older.
In June 2008, she paid her way to Indianapolis, where she and others asked leaders of the Southern Baptist Convention and its 47,000 churches to track sexual predators and take action against congregations that harbored or concealed abusers. Vasquez, by then in her 40s, implored them to consider prevention policies like those adopted by faiths that include the Catholic Church.
Days later, Southern Baptist leaders rejected nearly every proposed reform.
The abusers haven't stopped. They've hurt hundreds more.
...Rev. Thomas Doyle wrote to SBC leaders, imploring them to act. A priest and former high-ranking lawyer for the Catholic Church, Doyle in the 1980s was one of the earliest to blow the whistle on child sexual abuse in the church. But Catholic leaders "lied about it ... covered it up and ignored the victims," said Doyle, now retired and living in northern Virginia.
Doyle turned to activism because of his experiences, work that brought him closer to those abused in Southern Baptist churches. Their stories — and how the SBC handled them — felt hauntingly familiar, he said.
"I saw the same type of behavior going on with the Southern Baptists," he said.
The responses were predictable, Doyle said. In one, Frank Page, then the SBC president, wrote that they were "taking this issue seriously" but that local church autonomy presented "serious limitations." In March, Page resigned as president and CEO of the SBC's Executive Committee for "a morally inappropriate relationship in the recent past," according to the executive committee.

More Cover-up: Sexual Abuse of Nuns
Sexual Abuse of Nuns: Longstanding Church Scandal Emerges From Shadows
ROME — The sexual abuse of nuns and religious women by Catholic priests and bishops — and the abortions that have sometimes resulted — has for years been overshadowed by other scandals in the Roman Catholic Church.
That seemed to change this week when Pope Francis publicly acknowledged the problem for the first time.
“I was so happy,” said Lucetta Scaraffia, the author of an article denouncing the abuse of nuns and religious lay women by priests that was published this month in a magazine, Women Church World, which is distributed alongside the Vatican’s newspaper.
Speaking from her Rome apartment, which she said had essentially been converted into a television studio full of international reporters, Ms. Scaraffia said, “Finally, now many women will have the courage to come forward and denounce their abusers.”

An Egyptian - born Jesuit priest had this to say of the reality of the clash:
An expert of Islam and author of nearly 30 books in 15 languages, Father Boulad told Register Rome correspondent Edward Pentin via email Jan. 19...he also asked that the Holy Father change his position on Islam, calling his approach “much too naive and angelic.”
In an interview with the Register in 2017, Father Boulad said Islamist terrorists were applying what their religion teaches them, but that the Church had failed to address this because she had fallen prey to a leftist ideology that is destroying the West.

Human Fraternity Imam: Apostates Should Be Killed
Vatican's New Document on "Human Fraternity" Co-signed by Imam Who Believes in Death For Christian Converts
"...A few months before meeting the Pope he declared in front of the German Parliament that the Koran guaranteed religious freedom.
However, as the Cairo Institute for Human Rights Studies recently pointed out (as highlighted by Raymond Ibrahim in a recent essay), el-Tayeb has a history of saying one thing to Western audiences and another to Arabic or Muslim ones.
For example, during this past Ramadan, el-Tayeb reaffirmed on his television show that Islam mandates death for apostates:
Contemporary apostasy presents itself in the guise of crimes, assaults, and grand treason, so we deal with it now as a crime that must be opposed and punished…. Those learned in Islam [al-fuqaha] and the imams of the four schools of jurisprudence consider apostasy a crime and agree that the apostate must either renounce his apostasy or else be killed.
The plucky Institute made a public statement calling on him to renounce this position, also making the general observation that Al Azhar adopts two contradictory speeches: one is open and directed externally, while the other supports violent extremism, and is directed internally.
Interestingly, it appears that the statement was not released in English or referenced on the English version of the site.

Pope and Grand Imam meet in Abu Dhabi for Conference of Human Fraternity.
Pope and Grand Imam of Al-Azhar meet in Abu Dhabi as 700 religious leaders gather for Conference of Human Fraternity
"...The interfaith events of the Conference of Human Fraternity coincide with the pope’s visit. Pope Francis arrived Sunday night and has already met with guides, including Dr. Ahmad Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of al-Azhar. The Tayeb-Francis meeting is considered a high point of the tolerance events. Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dhabi, welcomed the pope and the Grand Imam.
“The flourishing of love, tolerance and harmony instilled in this good land,” he tweeted. He says that the UAE is becoming an oasis of tolerance that “serves the good of all mankind.” The UAE has declared 2019 the year of tolerance. The UAE says that 700 leaders from more than 12 religions are taking part.
Schneier, who has played a formative role in outreach to the Gulf, has praised the event. In a tweet, he wrote that it was an honor to be in Abu Dhabi and to represent Jewish communities in the Gulf during the historic visit: “A new era for interfaith relations.” In comments at The Financial Times, he said that there is a shift in the Gulf to develop Jewish communities as state engage in more interfaith activity."

Aborting The Baby on Molech's Altar Of Sex
Abortion and the Ancient Practice of Child Sacrifice
It is no secret that in American society extramarital sexual intercourse (fornication and adultery) is the cause of most pregnancies that end in abortion. Pregnancy is a risk many are willing to take knowing that any undesired consequences can be eliminated by abortion. The theologian Carl Henry recognizes this fact in calling abortion "the horrendous modern immolation of millions of fetuses on the alter of sex gratification." As suggested earlier, child sacrifice in Canaan may have been a convenient way to dispose of the consequences of the illicit sexual practice of temple prostitution associated with the cult of Molech. If so, the modern practice of men irresponsibly engaging in sexual intercourse with women to whom they do not intend to commit themselves and provide for parallels the wayward Israelite man engaging in extramarital relations with a temple prostitute. In both cases the men leave the women to bear the consequences of their aberrant sexual practices. New England Christian Action Council executive director John Rankin rightly calls this irresponsible behavior of men towards women as "the ultimate male chauvinism."

To my God I cried for help
Thank you for all your prayers, surgery miraculously reduced to five hours...
there was area that was to be grafted was found healthy and strong!
To our God be the glory!
The Lord Is My Rock and My Fortress
I love you, O Lord, my strength.
2 The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer,
my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
3 I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised,
and I am saved from my enemies.

to my God I cried for help.
From his temple he heard my voice,

From his temple he heard my voice,
and my cry to him reached his ears.
Because you have made the Lord your dwelling place—
the Most High, who is my refuge[b]—
10 no evil shall be allowed to befall you,
no plague come near your tent.
the Most High, who is my refuge[b]—
10 no evil shall be allowed to befall you,
no plague come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.
12 On their hands they will bear you up,
lest you strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the adder;
the young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot.
to guard you in all your ways.
12 On their hands they will bear you up,
lest you strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the adder;
the young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot.
14 “Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him;
I will protect him, because he knows my name.
15 When he calls to me, I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will rescue him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.”
I will protect him, because he knows my name.
15 When he calls to me, I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will rescue him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.”
