Will Christians Suffer Great Tribulation?

The View From The Bunker with Derek Gilbert:

JESUS OFFERED a pretty bleak prophecy for His followers in the end times. Contrary to the feel-good message coming from many pulpits today, Jesus told us others will “deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another.”

In fact, there are parts of the world where the faithful have faced death for the gospel’s sake for nearly two thousand years. Why, then, do so many of us expect the Great Tribulation to be limited to the last seven years before Christ’s return?

Longtime broadcaster and Bible student
Joe Ortiz, author of Why Christians Will Suffer “Great Tribulation“, discusses why the church, regardless of the timing of Christ’s return, have difficult times ahead.

John 16:33 ESV
33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.
