Western Coastline of Canada Rocked By Multiple Quakes

Unusually high level of quake activity for the Canadian west coast. See also the South American quake activity where Chile and Argentina were struck by 6.0+ magnitude quakes.


































Aftershocks recorded after large earthquake hits B.C.

PRINCE RUPERT, B.C. - A strong earthquake and aftershocks occurred early Tuesday in the Queen Charlotte Islands region off of B.C.'s central west coast, according to Earthquakes Canada.

The 6.6 magnitude earthquake struck at 7:30 a.m. local time and was felt as far away as Terrace and Prince Rupert, B.C.
