BREAKING: Pope Francis opens door to abolish priestly celibacy according to leaked Amazon Synod doc
Pope Francis’ post-synodal exhortation of the Amazon Synod will abolish celibacy, according to several bishops who have leaked the document.
ROME, January 31, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – Catholic historian Roberto de Mattei is claiming, based on documents he has received from “several bishops,” that Pope Francis’ post-synodal exhortation of the Amazon Synod will open the door to abolishing priestly celibacy in the Latin church.
According to documents obtained by Corrispondenza Romana, the apostolic exhortation, due for release in February, substantially reproduces a paragraph dedicated to priestly celibacy in the synod’s final document.

Virginia legislature goes all-out for abortion, ERA, LGBT agenda
The state's radical left-wing push poses a serious threat to religious liberty and conscience rights.
RICHMOND, Virginia, January 30, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – On the heels of passing sweeping legislation to repeal the state’s abortion restrictions, Virginia lawmakers are also pushing a wide slate of measures to advance the homosexual and transgender agendas in discrimination, education and more at the expense of religious liberty and conscience rights.
Earlier this week, the Virginia House and Senate both voted to pass the so-called Reproductive Health Protection Act, which would empower various non-physician health workers to commit first-trimester abortions, repeal the 24-hour waiting period for abortion, and eliminate the requirements that a woman seeking an abortion undergo counseling and be offered the chance to see an ultrasound of her baby.
Differences between the House and Senate versions of the bill need to be ironed out before the final version is sent to the governor’s desk, but Democrat Ralph Northam is expected to sign it into law.

Coronavirus: 5 million left Wuhan before lockdown
5 million left Wuhan before lockdown, 1,000 new coronavirus cases expected in city
About 5 million residents left Wuhan before the lockdown because of the deadly coronavirus epidemic and the Spring Festival holiday, mayor Zhou Xianwang revealed on Sunday, as health officials warned the virus’ ability to spread was getting stronger.
There were about 9 million people remaining in the city after the lockdown, Zhou told a press conference.
Of the 2,700 people currently under observation in the city, about 1,000 were likely to be confirmed cases. As of Sunday, Wuhan had 533 confirmed cases.
The central government imposed a lockdown on Wuhan and several cities on Thursday hoping to stop the new virus from spreading to other parts of the country. However, many had already left the city for the holiday, while others rushed out after the lockdown was announced on Wednesday night.
China, meanwhile, said Premier Li Keqiang would head the high-level group to fight the coronavirus epidemic that has killed 80 people and infected more than 2,500 others, while health officials said the virus’s ability to spread is getting stronger.

Virgin Islands allege Epstein trafficked hundreds of girls to his private island
Virgin Islands allege Jeffrey Epstein trafficked girls as young as 12 as recently as 2018
BY EMILY MICHOT | MARTA OLIVER CRAVIOTTO
A lawsuit filed Wednesday by the top law enforcement officer in the U.S. Virgin Islands alleges that multimillionaire financier Jeffrey Epstein sexually trafficked hundreds of young women and girls on his private island, some as recently as 2018, aided by a web of shell companies to carry out and conceal his crimes.
The allegations, if validated, broaden the scope of Epstein’s sexual trafficking, and shed new light on the tactics Epstein used to hide his illicit activities.
The lawsuit seeks forfeiture of the islands, valued by managers of Epstein’s estate at more than $86 million, because of their use in alleged crimes.

Pope's Economy Summit Speakers: Pro-abortion Economist and Population Control Guru
POPE FRANCIS CONVENES ‘ANTI-CAPITALISM’ SUMMIT
by Jules Gomes • ChurchMilitant.com • January 15, 2020
VATICAN CITY (ChurchMilitant.com) - Pope Francis is convening an international summit of young economists in Assisi to re-examine the current model of capitalism — what he terms the "economy of exclusion" — and to "find answers to the structural problems of the global economy."
...Professor Jeffrey Sachs, director of Columbia's Center for Sustainable Development and of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network, is one of the main speakers at the symposium. In his 2008 book Common Wealth: Economics for a Crowded Planet, Sachs argued for legalizing abortion as a cost-effective way to eliminate "unwanted children" when contraception fails. Abortion, he wrote, is a "lower-risk and lower-cost option" than having unwanted children born into the world.
...The March 26–28 forum, which has been dubbed a "papal anti-Davos," will bring together 2,000 students, academics and socially conscious entrepreneurs from more than 45 countries to explore alternatives to the free-market capitalist system.

Exposing child trafficking in the USA
Veterans For Child Rescue was founded by Veteran Navy SEAL DEVGRU Sniper, Craig “Sawman” Sawyer, in April of 2017. Sawman is now dedicating his life to raising awareness about the epidemic of child sex trafficking, rescuing victims, and putting predators behind bars.
The mission of V4CR is three fold:
• Nationwide alert: Provide nationwide attention to the prevalence of child sex trafficking through traditional media and the creation of a film series exposing child predators.
• Arrest pedophiles: An investigative team uses their military and law enforcement experience to run operations in conjunction with local police and district attorneys to arrest pedophiles and see the case through to conviction.
• Protect our children: The V4CR Nationwide Volunteer program provides educational outreach programs to arm citizens with the necessary tools to protect their children and maintain safe communities.

National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention
Proclamation on National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month, January 2020
Human trafficking erodes personal dignity and destroys the moral fabric of society. It is an affront to humanity that tragically reaches all parts of the world, including communities across our Nation. Each day, in cities, suburbs, rural areas, and tribal lands, people of every age, gender, race, religion, and nationality are devastated by this grave offense. During National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month, we reaffirm our unwavering commitment to eradicate this horrific injustice.
Trafficking crimes are perpetrated by transnational criminal enterprises, gangs, and cruel individuals. Through force, fraud, coercion, and sexual exploitation of minors, traffickers rob countless individuals of their dignity and freedom, splinter families, and threaten the safety of our communities. In all its forms, human trafficking is an intolerable blight on any society dedicated to freedom, individual rights, and the rule of law.
Human trafficking is often a hidden crime that knows no boundaries. By some estimates, as many as 24.9 million people ‑- adults and children — are trapped in a form of modern slavery around the world, including in the United States. Human traffickers exploit others through forced labor or commercial sex, and traffickers profit from their victims’ horrific suffering. The evil of human trafficking must be defeated. We remain relentless in our resolve to bring perpetrators to justice, to protect survivors and help them heal, and to prevent further victimization and destruction of innocent lives.
