The Presence Provides The Power To Overcome
Walking in Holiness Provides The Strength to Suffer
The ability to walk in holiness is directly related to our willingness to suffer in the flesh for Christ’s sake.
by Mike RatliffPossessing The Treasure
"...God, through His Word, calls all of us to cease from sin and live in the flesh no longer. We must become free from human passions and learn to live for the will of God alone. To live according to the flesh is a mark of an unbeliever. Christians are New Creations. (2 Corinthians 5:17) That means they now have the ability to obey God, hear God, and know God’s truth. The unsaved are spiritually dead and have no ability to do those things.
How does living this way help us fight the good fight against false teaching and apostasy? The ability to stand in the gap and not fall away in the thick of the battle requires warriors who are wearing their armor and know how to use their weapons. If sin is working within a Christian then he or she is being undercut by it. The Conscience should be condemning them for holding onto their sin, but their hearts have become hard through their deliberate disobedience and now they can more easily ignore the Conscience. However, when they are called to stand and fight they are weak and ineffective because without a dynamic relationship with the Conscience they cannot stand the attacks that come through spiritual warfare because they will have a weak assurance."
Trump Signs Order Recognizing Golan Heights as Israeli Territory
HAARETZ
WASHINGTON - U.S. President Donald Trump met Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Monday to sign a presidential proclamation officially recognizing the Golan Heights as Israeli territory on Monday, thus formalizing a move announced with a tweet earlier on Thursday.
In a joint press conference, Trump said: "We do not want to see another attack like the one suffered this morning north of Tel Aviv," adding: "Our relationship is powerful." Trump then said: "We will confront the poison of anti-Semitism."
Netanyahu called Trump's decision to recognize Israel's sovereignty over the Golan Heights "historic justice" and a "diplomatic victory," saying that "Israel won the Golan Heights in a just war of defense."

American Cosmic: UFOs Religion, and Technology
Belief in aliens could be America’s next religion
By Clare Coffey
"...If alien beliefs are an emerging religion, they may be an attempt to propitiate and manage anxiety around the strange new gods venture capital has created. The fact that Pasulka’s book heavily features the tech elite as prime examples of alien belief does not detract from this hypothesis; it would be surprising if Silicon Valley ever found something more worthy of worship than itself.
Whether ufology will fully morph into what we currently recognize as religion is still an open question. For one thing, the completion of the process would detract from its current appeal. Pasulka points out that the now-famous dictum “I want to believe” is a credo for agnostics: Belief is never foreclosed, but always postponed. Alien belief allows for a crowded, living cosmos filled with the wild supernatural, but the exact shape of that supernatural always remains slightly out of reach. It provides a language of longing for something — an angelic visitor, the complete fulfillment of our own technological potential, revelation about the nature of the universe — which remains elusive.
Still, there are signs that alien belief is poised to become one of the world’s ethical religions. Alien beliefs often implicate the world in wickedness and call for repentance — many accounts of alien contacts include calls for an end to war and an increase in peaceful human cooperation."

Israel mobilizes after Gaza rocket attack
Israel mobilizes after Gaza rocket attack, escalation looms
By ARON HELLER
KFAR SABA, Israel (AP) — An early morning rocket fired from the Gaza Strip demolished a house in central Israel on Monday, wounding seven people and prompting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to cut short a trip to Washington. The military quickly mobilized troops and called up reserves, setting the stage for a potential major conflagration shortly before Israel’s upcoming elections.
The rocket destroyed a residential home in the farming community of Mishmeret, north of the city of Kfar Saba, wounding six members of a family. The Magen David Adom rescue service said it treated seven people overall, including two women who were moderately wounded. The others, including two children and an infant, had minor wounds.

Cyclone Idai death toll passes 750
Cyclone Idai death toll passes 750 with more than 110,000 now in camps
yclone Idai’s death toll has risen above 750 in the three southern African countries hit 10 days ago by the storm, as workers try to restore electricity and water and prevent an outbreak of cholera.
In Mozambique the number of dead has risen to 446, with 259 dead in Zimbabwe and at least 56 dead in Malawi.
All numbers for deaths are still preliminary, said Mozambique’s environment minister, Celso Correia. As flood waters recede and more bodies are discovered, the final death toll in Mozambique alone could be above the early estimate of 1,000 made by the country’s president a few days after the cyclone hit, said aid workers.
Nearly 110,000 people are now in camps more than a week after Cyclone Idai hit, said Correia, the Mozambican government’s emergency coordinator. As efforts to rescue people trapped by the floods wind down, aid workers across the region are bracing for the spread of disease, including cholera and malaria.

SOLAR STORM WARNING!
GEOMAGNETIC STORM WARNING:
NOAA forecasters say that moderate G2-class geomagnetic storms are possible on March
23rd when a coronal mass ejection (CME) is expected to hit Earth's magnetic field. The solar
storm cloud was hurled in our direction by an explosion in the magnetic canopy of sunspot
AR2736. During G2-class storms, auroras may be seen in northern-tier US states as far south as
New York and Idaho.

VATICAN CITY (CNS) -- Pope Francis welcomed top officials of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the Vatican the day before the officials inaugurated their first temple in the city of Rome.
The Vatican included the pope's meeting with Russell M. Nelson, president of the Latter-day Saints church, in a list of Pope Francis' encounters March 9, but did not provide further information.
Catholic and Mormon leaders, especially in the United States, have increased their official contacts in recent years, working together on many social projects and joining forces to promote issues of common concern, particularly policies to support traditional families.

Mars Had Underground Water System
First evidence of planet-wide groundwater system on Mars
Mars Express has revealed the first geological evidence of a system of ancient interconnected lakes that once lay deep beneath the Red Planet's surface, five of which may contain minerals crucial to life.
Mars appears to be an arid world, but its surface shows compelling signs that large amounts of water once existed across the planet. We see features that would have needed water to form – branching flow channels and valleys, for example – and just last year Mars Express detected a pool of liquid water beneath the planet's south pole.
A new study now reveals the extent of underground water on ancient Mars that was previously only predicted by models.

Doctor Blasts Democrats For Not Supporting the Live Birth Protection Act
February 27, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) – A pro-life obstetrician-gynecologist said that it was shameful that Democrats refused to support a bill earlier this week that would have protected babies born alive after a failed abortion.
On Monday, the Senate failed to reach the number of votes necessary for the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Act to overcome the current filibuster rules and pass. The final vote of 53-44 fell largely along party lines, failing to reach the necessary 60 votes. Three Democrats did, however, cross the aisle and vote with Republicans on the bill. They were Sens. Joe Manchin of West Virginia, Bob Casey of Pennsylvania, and Doug Jones of Alabama. The bill required abortionists to provide medical care for babies who survive abortion.
Commenting on the bill, Dr. William Lile said, “The fact that Democrats say that a baby that is strong enough to survive an attempted abortion, and comes out kicking, screaming, and has a heartbeat, that it is now a decision to be left to the mother and the physician is just crazy.” Repeating a catch-phrase from his website, the doctor said, “The patient is a person no matter how small.”
