‘It is over, no Christians will be left’ in Iraq

He is one of the world’s most prominent priests, but Canon Andrew White – known as the “Vicar of Baghdad” – has reached a painstaking conclusion: Christianity is all but over in the land where it all began.
“The time has come where it is over, no Christians will be left. Some stay Christians should stay to maintain the historical presence, but it has become very difficult. The future for the community is very limited,” White told Fox News this week. “The Christians coming out of Iraq and ISIS areas in the Middle East all say the same thing, there is no way they are ever going back. They have had enough.”
Thirty years ago, there were approximately 1.4 million Christians in Iraq. The number dwindled to around 1 million after the fall of Saddam Hussein in 2003, and a year ago it was estimated that there were less than 250,000 left. Numbers have continued to decline as families flee, and today even approximate figures are difficult to obtain.

The Upcoming Solar Eclipse And Revelation 12 Sign

The Washington Post Interviews Us About The Upcoming Solar Eclipse And Revelation 12 Sign

Unsealed is in the news again.  Julie Zauzmer, a reporter with The Washington Post, interviewed me about the upcoming August 21st solar eclipse and it led into a discussion where I was able to share the "great sign" we're all watching: Revelation 12.  I'm not sure if Julie is a believer, but hat's off to her, I think she reported us very fairly and this allowed me to correct the record about the rumor started by British tabloids last Fall that we supposedly think the world is going to end in August.

Julie covered our views on the eclipse, the Revelation 12 Sign, mentioned our website, and also shared what we believe is necessary to be ready for the rapture (i.e. believe in the Gospel).

You can read the article in its entirety here, but here is the relevant excerpt:

In certain religious communities, the talk surrounding the eclipse has to do with a different sort of preparation. Gary Ray isn’t worried about just travel plans and adequate eye protection. He’s focused on the Rapture.

Ray, a writer for the evangelical Christian publication Unsealed, views this eclipse as one of several astronomical signs that the day when Christians will be whisked away from the Earth is fast approaching.

“The Bible says a number of times that there’s going to be signs in the heavens before Jesus Christ returns to Earth. We see this as possibly one of those,” Ray said about the eclipse.

He is even more interested in another astronomical event that will occur 33 days after the eclipse, on Sept. 23, 2017.

Vatican to hold Islamic prayers for the first time in history

DAILY EB

On Sunday for the first time ever the readings from Quran will be heard at the Vatican. This move was initiated by the Pope Francis in order to bring peace between Israelis and Palestinians.

During his visit last week to Jordan Israel, and the Palestinian Authority, Pope Francis invited Israeli President Shimon Peres and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

Peres’s spokesperson has announced in Times of Israel that Abbas, Peres, and Pope Francis will be joined by Jewish, Christian and Islamic religious leaders.

According to the officials, these evening prayers would be a “pause in politics” and have no political aim behind it other than the desire to bring peace and respect to the Israeli-Palestinian relations, states the Associated Press.

Calling Out Violent Islamism

CPAC Declares World War III Against Jihad

American Forum for Islam and Democracy President Zuhdi Jasser echoed her ideological concerns. “We see the invocation of blasphemy laws through using the term ‘Islamophobia,'” a term with totalitarian origins often used to silence any criticism, including that of self-professed Muslims like Jasser, of Islamic doctrine. “Don’t use the term ‘Islamophobia,’ because they are trying to shut us all up from criticizing Islamic State ideology.” (Perhaps another CPAC panelist from later that day, The Hill editor Nicholas Hahn, should have considered such censorship concerns, given The Hill‘s deletion under criticism of an article by Jihad Watch’s Robert Spencer.)

Like Lopez, Jasser emphasized the broad-based nature of threats anchored in Islamic doctrine, such as the Islamic State (in Iraq and – Greater – Syria, or ISIS). “We could get rid of ISIS tomorrow or next year, and then in a couple of years there will be another radical Islamic group,” he warned. Citing Saudi Arabia’s Islamic kingdom or Iran and Pakistan’s Islamic Republics, he noted that ISIS is “this monster that got created from their ideas.”

Jasser therefore sounded a call for a battle of ideas and advocated an ideological policy shift from “this nebulous, blasé ‘Countering Violent Extremism’ to ‘Countering Violent Islamism.'” Like Loudon, Jasser noted that Islamist groups are “parties that embrace the collectivism of Islam as a faith.” Therefore, there is a “bargain between the Left and Islam; it’s because they are both collectivists.”

Muslim Brotherhood: All Hail The Islamic State!

Don’t Let The Muslim Brotherhood Bring This To America

The Muslim Brotherhood is creating a “parallel social structure” in Sweden with the help of political elites who foster a culture of silence, a damning Swedish government report has found.

Publication of the document about the group has sparked a row in Sweden, reports Hannah Al-Othman in the UK Daily Mail, with critics labelling the report “conspiratorial” and claiming it misrepresents Islam.

The report, which was published last Friday, was commissioned by Sweden's Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB), which is part of the country's Ministry of Defense.
For those new readers of CHQ who have not followed our coverage of this sinister force of “civilization jihad,” the Muslim Brotherhood was founded in 1928, and aims to organize Muslims politically in order to create a global, Sunni Islamic Caliphate.

The group is arguably the largest Islamist organization in the world and has in the past been linked to many Islamist organizations in the United States including the Council on American – Islamic Relations (CAIR) USA, Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT). These American-based front groups have corresponding chapters or organizations in Canada as well.
As Thomas Quiggin of the Gatestone Institute documented, Muslim Brotherhood front organizations and their members have an ongoing problem with criminal activity, terrorism-funding activities and overall negative relations with legal authorities.
