Iraqi security forces stormed a Baghdad church in which terrorists wearing explosive vests were holding them hostage.
The raid also killed seven Iraqi soldiers and police officers. The violence erupted just after 9pm, almost four hours after a group of between six and eight gunmen wearing military uniforms stormed Our Lady of Salvation Chaldean Catholic church in the inner-city suburb of Karrada.

Affirm Unity on Global Oneness Day
"They say if all the people in China were to jump up and down at the same time, the axis of the globe would shift," Ono said.
Similarly, "billions of us" are "determined to shift the axis of the world to health, peace and joy by loving and caring for all lives on Earth," she said in a video supporting Global Oneness Day, to be celebrated in more than 25 countries Sunday, organizers said.
"It's time for action," Ono said. "On Global Oneness Day, let's recognize that we are one."
Scores of churches will also hold oneness-themed services that day, said the Association for Global New Thought, one of the day's nearly 50 supporting organizations.
Indonesia's Merapi volcano eruption continues
Ash fell on surrounding paddyfields and jungle and on the ancient city of Yogyakarta 12 miles away, as fears grew that the activity of the past ten days could be the prelude to a devastating eruption in the heart of Java, Indonesia's most heavily populated island.
The new eruption early on Saturday caused panic just days after 35 people died on the slopes of the volcano, some burned to death by hot clouds of ash and gas which raced with terrific speed down Merapi's steep slopes incinerating forests and settlements in their way.
Second Indonesian volcano erupts
Indonesia's Anak Krakatau volcano in Sunda Strait, straddling East Java and Sumatra, has spewed ash and flaming rocks.
Officials raised alert levels to 'high' on Friday as the volcano showed signs of increased activity, producing 117 small eruptions.
Staff at the observation post in Pasauran, Banten Province are on a 24-hour watch. Residents in Pasauran have been told to stay at least two kilometres away from the volcano.

Explosives found in two U.S.-bound packages
The two packages and other suspicious parcels aboard cargo jets, all originating from Yemen, 'underscore the necessity of remaining vigilant against terrorism,' President Obama says.
Reporting from Washington —
A terrorist attack apparently aimed at two Jewish centers in Chicago was thwarted when two packages the size of bread boxes containing explosives were intercepted in Europe and the Middle East, President Obama and counterterrorism officials announced Friday.
The packages, which had originated from Yemen, were found on cargo planes after a tip from an official in Saudi Arabia. The targets were a synagogue and another Jewish center on the North Side of Chicago, a U.S. official said.

Three Volcanoes Show Signs of Increased Activity
“Anak Krakatau's activities has been escalating since Oct. 27,” said Sikin, a staff member at the Anak Krakatau monitoring post in Cinangka, Serang, as quoted by SCTV on Friday.
According to Sikin, the volcano's status was increased to “be alert,” or two levels before a big eruption, since September. However, the situation is still considered safe for fishermen.
“Fishermen must be cautious and try not to get too close to the mountain and maintain a minimum 4-kilometer distance,” Sikin said.
Increased activity is also building up at the Galunggung volcano in Tasikmalaya, West Java. Heri Supartono, head of the Galunggung monitoring post, said that the volcano had triggered 34 earthquakes this month.
Nazi Victims Accuse Vatican of Money Laundering
Holocaust survivors from the former Yugoslavia accused the Vatican of helping Nazi allies launder their stolen valuables and have asked the European Commission to investigate their claims.
“We are requesting the commission open an inquiry into allegations of money laundering of Holocaust victim assets by financial organs associated with or which are agencies of the Vatican City State,” Jonathan Levy, a Washington-based attorney for the survivors and their heirs, wrote in a letter dated Oct. 20 to Olli Rehn, the European Union’s economic and monetary affairs commissioner. Levy provided the letter to Bloomberg.
Two Volcanoes Blow In Russia
28 October, 2010, 11:24
Two volcanic eruptions in Russia's Far East region of Kamchatka have covered the whole town of Ust-Kamchatsk in ash.
One volcano began erupting on Thursday and the other started spewing ash on October 22.
More than 5,000 people were forced to stay at home with their windows shut, Interfax news agency reported.
Local authorities said the volcanic ash was not a major health threat to the town’s population, therefore the people were not evacuated from the area.

Tsunami, Volcanic Eruptions May Be Linked
This week's Indonesian tsunami and volcano eruption might be linked, scientists say.
The tsunami was triggered by a magnitude 7.7 earthquake that hit at 9:42 p.m., local time, on Monday near the western island of Sumatra. The resulting waves killed more than 300 people. (See an Indonesia map.)
A few hours later the 9,700-foot (3,000-meter) volcano Mount Merapi, on the eastern island of Java, blew a pillar of hot ash and debris into the sky, killing at least 30 people living on its slopes. (See pictures of Mount Merapi erupting.)
Mount Merapi, Indonesia's most active volcano, had been building up steam for several days. But the timing of the main burst so soon after the earthquake raises the question of whether the shaking ground set off the eruption—even though the epicenter of the quake was 800 miles (1,300 kilometers) away from the volcano.

Gulf Oil Disaster: Pensacola Bay Oil Has Extreme Toxicity
"...Test results are in for oil material found in Pensacola Bay late last month, and the numbers are frightening.
A lab experienced in testing petroleum products determined that the oil’s toxicity levels are sky-high.
“In its natural state, the numbers are off the chart,” said Heather Reed, the environmental expert for the City of Gulf Breeze who made the discovery. “It’s extremely toxic to human health.”

Chemist Bob Naman described the brownish, rubbery tar balls that are a product of BP's dispersed oil that continue to wash up on beaches across the Gulf:
"Those are the ones kids are picking up and playing with and breathing the fumes that come off them when you crush them in your hand. These will affect anyone who comes into contact with it. You could have an open wound and this goes straight in. Women have a lot more open mucus membranes and they are getting sicker than men. They are bleeding from their vagina and anus. "Historic" Storm Sets Records for Lowest Pressure in U.S.
Large and powerful storm system re-writes the record books for lowest pressure recorded from a non-hurricane.
A massive storm system set records on Tuesday for the lowest surface pressure ever observed in the continental United States from a non-tropical cyclone.
The storm was centered over northern Minnesota, causing barometers to drop as low as 28.20", a record for a non-tropical cyclone. The pressure gradients caused by the rapidly intensifying low produced wind gusts over 70mph in Illinois and damage in several other states.
Indianapolis also saw severe winds that forced the brief evacuation of a 48-story office building.

Engineering a Global Depression to Create a Global Government
"...As the nations of the West took on enormous debts by giving the banks money (effectively buying the bad debt of the banks), and with decades of imperialism building massive foreign debts, the West and notably America, are entering into a period in which they will be subjected to the same or similar forms of ‘structural adjustment’ as they have inflicted upon the rest of the world. With the G20 promising to impose “fiscal austerity,” public sector jobs will be lost, state-owned assets and infrastructure privatized, taxes raised, interest rates will soar (eventually), and liberalized markets will be expanded and institutionalized, not least so that major global banks will be able to profit off of the subsequent collapse of nations through the financial weapon of speculation. The middle classes will vanish and poverty will reign supreme, while the rich become immeasurably richer and more powerful. Naturally, people will rise up, take to the streets, protest, demonstrate, riot, even rebel and revolt. As sure as the people will resist, the state will repress with police, the military and the ‘Homeland Security State’ apparatus of surveillance and control. Make no mistake: this is the ‘Third worldization’ of the West: the ‘Post-Industrial Revolution.’

Rick Warren and Mother Teresa's Interfaith Intersection
In his forward, Warren talks about the handwritten note penned by Mother Teresa that is framed on his office wall. Warren praises Mother Teresa as one of the greatest evangelists of the 20th century.
Warren also referenced Mother Teresa in The Purpose Driven Life. Warren writes:
"How you treat other people, not your wealth or accomplishments, is the most enduring impact you can leave on earth. As Mother Teresa said, 'It's not what you do, but how much love you put into it that matters."- page 125, The Purpose Driven Life.
Warren clearly aligns himself with Mother Teresa's concept of universalism in the name of good works and self sacrifice.
Here's an example of Mother Teresa's beliefs from the Roman Catholic news website, MinistryValues.com. Author Wayne Weible reflects upon the intensely noble work of Mother Teresa...
"In Yemen," recounted Mother Teresa, "which is entirely a Muslim country, I asked one of the rich people to build a Masjid [a mosque] there. People needed a place to pray, I said to him; they are all Muslim brothers and sisters. They need to have a place where they can meet God."
...It was such boundless charity that Mother Teresa emphasized as the hallmark of her faith. Love comes out of charity; charity comes out of love. Hers was a charity that knew no religious bounds. She was careful, yes, to adhere to the Catholic way; no one was more orthodox; no one had greater appreciation for the sacraments; but she was most careful above all to love."
Mother Teresa's interfaith universalism is well documented. Tim Challes examined Mother Teresa's Roman Catholic beliefs in his article, The Myth of Mother Teresa:
"...we get a glimpse of beliefs that contradict so many gospel truths. We see a belief in transubstantiation (that the bread of communion actually becomes the body of Christ) and her belief that Christ is present in this bread. We also see her belief that Mary, the mother of Jesus, is a mediator between God and ourselves (see Catholic Catechism, paragraph #969, #1172 and #494) and as such, plays a role in our salvation."
Challes provides a direct quote for Mother Teresa's own book:
While she worked with the poor, Mother Teresa was adamant that any type of evangelism was unnecessary. In her book, Life in the Spirit: Reflections, Meditations and Prayers, she says:
“We never try to convert those who receive [aid from Missionaries of Charity] to Christianity but in our work we bear witness to the love of God’s presence and if Catholics, Protestants, Buddhists, or agnostics become for this better men — simply better — we will be satisfied. It matters to the individual what church he belongs to. If that individual thinks and believes that this is the only way to God for her or him, this is the way God comes into their life — his life. If he does not know any other way and if he has no doubt so that he does not need to search then this is his way to salvation. (Pages 81-82)
...Through the entire book there is never a hint that she relies on Christ alone for her salvation. Rather we read things like, “I’ve always said we should help a Hindu become a better Hindu, a Muslim become a better Muslim, a Catholic become a better Catholic” (Page 31)."
Challes describes the effect that Mother Teresa's legacy has on Protestant pastors:
"Pastors of Protestant churches around the world continue to speak of Mother Teresa in saintly terms. They hold her up as the ultimate example of self-sacrifice for the sake of the gospel. From the pulpits they discuss how she responded to Christ’s Great Commission to spread the gospel to all lands. The reality, though, is that if she preached at all, she preached a false religion. In so doing she provides us with an example not of a Christian responding to God’s call, but an example of deeds of charity and compassion completely separated from the Truth."
The question that begs to be asked of Rick Warren is simple:

California Overdue for Another Megaquake
(CBS) THE BIG ONE is California shorthand for an earthquake that can be predicted with certainty but not much precision . . . and therefore can only be prepared for imprecisely. Our Cover Story is reported by now by John Blackstone: Last Thursday, millions of people in California took shelter under tables and desks, protecting themselves from an earthquake . . . an imaginary one.
...David L. Ulin, who wrote about how Californians cope with earthquakes in "The Myth of Solid Ground," said the "Big One" could be 40-50 times as destructive as the Northridge quake. "For anyone who's lived through the Northridge quake, that's an unimaginable kind of circumstance," he said.
U.N. Proclaims World Interfaith Harmony Week
"...Amid the standard legal wording of U.N. resolutions, that phrase “Love of God and Love of the Neighbour” stands out both as a rare example of religious belief in an official document like this and an unmistakable hint at the authorship of this text. Readers of this blog will recognise it as a trademark phrase of the Common Word group, the Muslim scholars who have been pursuing better interfaith understanding through dialogue with Christian churches. They’ve held a number of conferences with different churches and two of the manifesto’s signatories last week became the first Muslims to address a Vatican synod of bishops. Now the group is pursuing its mission on the diplomatic stage with an appeal to governments to help foster interfaith contacts."
Vatican: Israel Is Root Cause of Troubled Middle East
Catholic Church: Christ nullified God's promises to the Jews from Israel Today
A Catholic synod called at the Vatican to address the rising persecution of Christian in the Middle East wrapped up on Saturday with a joint statement that focused a lot of attention on demanding Israel end its “occupation” of Arab lands.
The gathering was meant to address the various acts of persecution, intimidation and discrimination that are resulting in a severe dwindling of Christian communities across the region.
But the bulk of the two-week meeting was spent discussing how Israel is the root cause of all the Middle East’s woes, including those faced by its Christians.
The final statement reflected that position. It listed the “occupation” of Arab lands, the building of Israel’s security barrier, military checkpoints, the jailing of terrorists (defined in the statement as “political prisoners”) and the general disruption of Palestinian life as some of the main reasons behind the exodus of Palestinian Christians and Muslim attacks on the Jewish state.

Rick Warren's New Pied Pipers of Purpose and Prosperity
- Rick Warren
Apprising Ministries continues to report on the new age image that is forming over Rick Warren's latest church growth marketing campaign...
"Apprising Ministries has been among the online apologetics and discernment ministries covering Piper-Warrengate.
It all began when Dr. John Piper made the dubious decision to feature Purpose Driven Pope Rick Warren, with his quite elastic orthodoxy and twistable multi-tranlation Play-Doh Bible, as a keynote speaker at the DG 2010 conference Think: The Life of the Mind & the Love of God.
You might remember that I told you e.g. in Decade of Destiny With Rick Warren that Purpose Driven Pope Rick Warren uveiled his Plan for Decade of Destiny and Challenges the Men of Saddleback ...
...Next we note that Doctor of Destiny Adams tells us in that God brought into her life the mighty “prayer general” Dr. Cindy Trimm...
And not only that, but who knew; Dr. Cindy Trimm is also “an ambassadorial mouthpiece for God” with such “kingdom technologies” that our Divine Destiny Doctor pastrix Adams is now so fine-tunedly “aligned” she’s able “to take dominion and prosper.”

Guinness & Wells Throw Stones at "End Times" Christians
Ironically, the authors reference the need for "accuracy and humility", yet exercise neither as they marginalize believers with the following statement:
"...Needless to say, globalization poses a sharp challenge to both accuracy and humility, and we need to start by avoiding the two equal and opposite pitfalls into which so many fall: the excessive “Wow!” attitudes of the cheerleaders and the excessive “gloom and doom” of the curmudgeons (who in their Christian form view globalization as the precursor to “the end times”) In any age, there are three tasks facing Christians who would wrestle with the world of their day and live faithfully as followers of the Way of Jesus."
The authors cast an aberrant shadow on these "curmudgeons" by intimating that these Christians hold a distorted view of Chrisitianity because "they" associate globalism with end times prophecy.
Really?
The end times framing of globalism is not a figment of "the curmudgeons" imaginations. The authors err in crediting these "curmudgeons" with the origination of this "Christian form". The real credit belongs to the Book of Daniel and the Book of Revelation.
These Books reveal the Rise of the Fourth Kingdom. These Books define a one-world government to be ruled by the Anti-Christ who makes war with the saints.
The authors write: "The first task is to discern, and so to make an accurate description of the realities of the world in which we find ourselves." Though the authors encourage a biblical worldview, they fail to point the reader to the Scriptures to discern today's realities and the signs of the times.
Instead, the case is made for the authors' form of Christianity to undergird globalism and how to serve the world. A form of Christianity void of the prophetic portions of Scripture that warn of the very threat the authors are petitioning other Christians to embrace.
Daniel 7:23
"...there shall be a fourth kingdom on earth, which shall be different from all the kingdoms, and it shall devour the whole earth, and trample it down, and break it to pieces. 24 As for the ten horns, out of this kingdom ten kings shall arise, and another shall arise after them;he shall be different from the former ones, and shall put down three kings. 25 He shall speak words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High...

Michigan: The Earth Splits Open
STEPHENSON - The sudden appearance of a 150-foot, 4-foot-deep crevice in Menominee Township remains a mystery and is causing a great deal of speculation.
The crevice appeared after landowners heard a loud boom between 8 and 9 a.m. Monday, followed by the ground shaking for a few seconds. The landowners later found a large crevice south of their Menominee Township home Tuesday.
Residents are speculating what could have caused the mysterious occurrence.
Gulf Oil Disaster: Death By Inhalation
"Can the Enormous Health Problems in the Gulf States be Permanently Hidden?
...My initial reaction was that the U.S. administration would be forced to evacuate the residents of the Gulf states to areas more than 200 miles from the coast in order to preserve life. A tentative date for the FEMA evacuation was put forth as late August. My current thinking is that evacuation may be able to be avoided. Failure to evacuate guarantees that massive numbers of Gulf citizens will die from oil, hexane and methane exposure. Exposure to Aromatic Polycyclic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) from oil are capable of damaging every organ in the human body.
"...If the number of persons dying in Gulf States from illnesses arising from exposure to oil keeps steadily rising there is no reason to think this rising death rate would force FEMA to do anything. The steady increase in deaths will not get publicity, some people will voluntarily move away to a healthier state and the Gulf States will steadily have a lower number of citizens."

Peter Scazzero And Rick Warren Spreading Contemplative Spirituality
I’ve mentioned many times before that this spurious CSM under the quise of Spiritual Formation, with it’s main vehicle of Contemplative/Centering Prayer (CCP)—meditation in an altered state of consciousness—was a core doctrine from the EC’s evil inception. What I’m about to show you here from Peter Scazzero is simply another example of just how far this romanticized version of anti-sola Scriptura CSM has penetrated the mainstream of the church visible, and, what happens when one continues these spurious spiritual practices long enough to anger the Lord.
Earlier I showed you that in SBC Protestant Pastor Rick Warren Double-Minded On The Reformation And Roman Catholicism that, for all intents and purposes, Purpose Driven Pope Rick Warren is about as Protestant as Pope Benedict XVI himself. Then in Rick Warren And Peter Scazzero Up To Monk-ee Business I reminded you that at his conference Radicalis last February at Saddleback Church, which also featured Mark Driscoll, Perry Noble, and Andy Stanley, Warren pronounced his PDL blessing upon an “evangelical” CSM guru by the name of Peter Scazzero.
You might remember that in an email promoting that conference, Chat Live with Radicalis Speaker, Pete Scazzero, Wednesday, December 9 at 11 am pst, Warren told us:
Pete, along with his wife, Geri, are co-founders of Emotionally Healthy Spirituality, a groundbreaking ministry that integrates emotional health and contemplative spirituality to pastors, leaders and local churches. (On file at AM, emphasis mine)

Desiring God 2010: Battle of the Mind or Bodies?
John Piper claimed he was "going to go after Rick Warren" with 13 pages of questions regarding the Purpose Driven Life. Piper gushes over Rick Warren's ability to quote scripture to the point that Piper wanted to "just quit", apparently out of some intense personal sense of inadequacy.
Such a dramatic response of unworthiness on Piper's part continues to edify Rick Warren's ministry.
The reality is John Piper and Rick Warren are aligning their efforts, as Warren announced that the 2011 Desiring Gospel conference would be held at Saddleback Church.
Was this event intended to be a staged theological wrestling match where Warren's theology was to be declared at least compatible with Piper ( classic Hegelian dialectic maneuver ) who allegedly sits in the Calvinist camp?
Who were the spectators in the stadium who witnessed the event? Pastors, future pastors and laymen.
Is it possible that The Desiring God's Battle of the Mind was more a battle of the hearts of the spectators? Was this event a cloaked recruiting drive to siphon off attendees to expand Warren's network of franchises?
Sound outrageous? Take a look at Rick Warren's latest announcement about The Decade of Destiny and growing 100 new churches annually to the network.
Warren kicks off the the campaign with Vision rallies. Listen to Rick talk about Possessing Your Destiny:
" How you define life will determine your destiny... If you are going to maximize your life, you have to understand these three principles:
- life is a test
- life is a trust
- life is a temporary assignment
...you get to choose your destiny."
Warren's penchant for the law of attraction no doubt will under gird the Decade of Destiny's multilevel marketing motivational speeches to woo recruits, as those in attendance at the 2010 Desiring God conference.
7"Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD: 8 As I live, declares the Lord GOD, surely because my sheep have become a prey, and my sheep have become food for all the wild beasts, since there was no shepherd, and because my shepherds have not searched for my sheep, but the shepherds have fed themselves, and have not fed my sheep, 9therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD: 10Thus says the Lord GOD, Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will require my sheep at their hand and put a stop to their feeding the sheep. No longer shall the shepherds feed themselves. I will rescue my sheep from their mouths, that they may not be food for them.
Southern Baptist leader on yoga: Not Christianity
Southern Baptist Seminary President Albert Mohler says the stretching and meditative discipline derived from Eastern religions is not a Christian pathway to God.
Mohler said he objects to "the idea that the body is a vehicle for reaching consciousness with the divine."
"That's just not Christianity," Mohler told The Associated Press.
Mohler said feedback has come through e-mail and comments on blogs and other websites since he wrote an essay to address questions about yoga he has heard for years.
"I'm really surprised by the depth of the commitment to yoga found on the part of many who identify as Christians," Mohler said.

Warren at Piper Conference-"Nothing happens till somebody starts dreaming
A great commentary at the website of Sola Sisters, concerning the message given by Rick Warren at the recent Desiring God 2010 conference hosted by John Piper. Warren was not able to attend the conference personally but rather submitted a video message. I will offer my comments on a future post.
But this is not the yielded life of a true Christian as taught in Scripture….coming up with big dreams and then looking for God to give us the "go juice" to accomplish what we desire. In thinking this way, we create an idol in our minds of a "God" who is reduced to being the "power in our engines" and the dog that jumps through the hoops of our choosing. No, the way we come to the Lord is with our hands open, humbly submitting our dreams, plans, wants, and desires to His perfect will (Matt 6:10).
In closing, let me put forth the troubling idea that, thanks to Dr. John Piper’s Desiring God 2010, a whole new audience is now being exposed to Rick Warren’s particular brand of Christian narcissism…..with Dr. Piper’s stamp of approval. And so I’ll ask a question I’ve asked before: how far from orthodoxy does Rick Warren have to fall before Christian leaders will begin to "mark him out" and separate from him (Romans 16:17) – rather than continuing to give him a platform for teaching and preaching? Apparently, to Dr. Piper’s mind, we’re nowhere close.
You can view the entire message online at http://desiringgod.org/resource-library/conference-messages/the-battle-for-your-mind.
Again, I ask the question, what has been the opinions of the other speakers at the conference, Albert Mohler, R.C. Sproul, Thabiti Anyabwile and Francis Chan? Have they made any comments about Warren’s invitation to the conference and his message?

Enough! Scripture twisting is not ‘doctrinal and sound’
Much of modern evangelicalism seems to be fixated upon the idea that we can only progress as individual Christians and the church if we are pursing a dream or vision. This tendency is epitomized in these two claims:
Nothing happens till somebody starts dreaming. What we need today are great dreamers.
Those words occur not on the website of some ‘best-life-now’ life coach, but, rather surprisingly, in a post over at the Desiring God website:
The Battle for Your Mind (Desiring God 2010 National Conference)
There we are given the command to ‘Let God stretch your imagination’ and told that ‘Nothing happens till somebody starts dreaming. What we need today are great dreamers.’
Now, where exactly does the Bible teach any of this?
See the rest at Christian Research Network.
White House “GAGGED NOAA” From Revealing Actual Gulf Oil Disaster Flow Rate
Panel: Gov’t blocked worst-case oil spill figures, AP, October 6, 2010:
The White House blocked efforts by federal scientists to tell the public just how bad the Gulf oil spill could have been…
In documents released Wednesday, the national oil spill commission’s staff reveals that in late April or early May the White House budget office denied a request from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to make public the worst-case discharge from the blown-out well. …
BP’s drilling permit for the Macondo well originally estimated the worst scenario to be a leak of 6.8 million gallons per day. In late April, the Coast Guard and NOAA received an updated estimate of 2.7 million to 4.6 million gallons per day. …
University of South Florida oceanographer David Hollander, who was also at the St. Petersburg meeting of 150 scientists studying the oil flow on Wednesday, said he was surprised to find that the White House budget office gagged NOAA.
Rick Warren and the Muslim Brotherhood
Has Rick Warren become a shill for Islamic terror?
That's the charge of a well-documented article by an investigator published in FrontPageMag.com.
Warren is promoted on the "speakers corner" of the Islamic Society of North America, an arm of the Muslim Brotherhood and a financier of the Hamas terror organization.
Fifteen months ago, Warren spoke to ISNA's annual convention with these opening words: "As-salamu Alaykum. I come to you today deeply humbled and honored by this invitation. I truly mean that. I applaud your courage for inviting an Evangelical pastor. Thank you."

DECADE OF DESTINY WITH RICK WARREN
"...there’s a deeper connection here between Rick Warren and the Doctor of Destiny Laverne Adams than immediately meets the eye. Pastrix Adams is with an organization “under the direction of Bishop David Evans”; and David Evans himself is a well known Word Faith heretic and regular on the Trinity Broadcasting Network, a veritible haven of heresy.
And so, the convergence continues as alliances are being made among people whom, just a few short years ago, we’d never even have imagined would occur. Well, to paraphrase Dr. John Piper: I’m gonna need help to know why we should feel anything but bad about his quite dubious decision to expose Rick Warren to the Reformed camp when it patently obvious that he promotes these kinds of false teachers."

RICK WARREN ON FLAVORING MAN-PLEASING SERMONS
"...Sadly, it seems to me that much of the church visible has largely ignored the proper proclamation of God’s Word in favor of these man-centered methods Rick Warren shares above in his ode to self post.
As we assess the shape of the Christian faith today, rather than bringing in people-pleasing pragmatists like Rick Warren to share his myths about the Mind of God, I offer that instead we’d be much better off if we’d get back to doing this:
I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.

Planet's gravity means a human could walk on the surface
Highest average temperature is -12C - cold but survivable. Scientists say incredible discovery points to universe full of Earth-like planets
The chances that future generations will one day colonise the stars have just got higher.
Astronomers tonight announced the discovery of the most Earth-like planet ever found - a rocky world three times the size of our own world, orbiting a star 20 light years away..
The planet lies in the star's 'Goldilocks zone' - the region in space where conditions are neither too hot or too cold for liquid water to form oceans, lakes and rivers.
