Endless Earthquake Now The New Normal?

In the beginning of April Volcanic-like Quake Activity In Pacific Ring of Fire continued to ring.

Chile, Baja region of Mexico & Southern California experience the "endless earthquake" as 100's of after shocks rock the regions. Sumatra was struck with a 7.7 magnitude quake on Tuesday and with 8 - 4.0+ magnitude after shocks so far.

Is this a new phase in plate tectonics...earthquakes that act like volcanic eruptions, rumbling for days and weeks? With solar storms peaking in 2012, the earth's already fragile magnetic field stands to be pummelled. And along with it, the tectonic plates of the earth.

Now, at the end of April, the Bio-Bio region of Chile has quieted to single digit-daily quakes since it's February 27 magnitude 8.8. event.

The Baja region of Southern California & Mexico continue to rock with tremors nearly four weeks after the April 4, 2010 -7.2 magnitude quake.

Over the last seven days, Baja has been rocked with 763 quakes, 47 of which were between 3.0 and 4.1 magnitude.
