March 26 (Bloomberg) -- At least two Palestinians were killed by Israeli artillery fire in the Gaza Strip, a Gaza medical official said, following media reports that two Israelis were killed by a roadside bomb.
At least three Palestinians were wounded by Israeli fire, emergency medical services chief Mo’aewya Hassanein said in a phone interview. Two Israeli soldiers were killed in the explosion, al-Jazeera television reported, without providing further details. Another three Israelis were wounded, al-Arabiya television reported.
The clash erupted after the explosion of a roadside bomb targeting an Israeli patrol on the Gaza border, Gaza’s al-Aqsa radio reported. An Israeli army spokeswoman said she could not comment on the reports
