Earlier this year it was noted that 2007 is set to be the launch pad year for global unity initiatives.
Now the UK's Times Online is reporting radical proposals to reunite Anglicans with the Roman Catholic Church under the leadership of the Pope.
After 300 years of Anglican history the leadership in both denominations have agreed to explore how they might reunite under the Pope.
Some folks in the Protestant / Evangelical community may not think this is relevant. However, popular and successful "Evangelicals" have been building bridges to Rome for quite some time. There are dozens if not hundreds of examples, but here are just a few:

The truth is most Christians will not be able to even discern these amazing developments because they have bought the "new" eschatology that has been permeating the "pop" christian world through C.Peter Wagner and Rick Warren and others. As Jesus said, ..." you cannot discern the times"
